This location offers halal food, and the place itself was very nice. The staff was friendly, humble, and welcoming.
We ordered a halal Angus beef burger, which was well-prepared and delicious. We also got a pizza to take home, and when we tried it later, it was also tasty and fully halal.
When we asked if there was a space for prayer, the staff kindly showed us to the motel area, where they have a very clean and dedicated musalla (prayer space). This was a pleasant surprise for us, and we would definitely recommend this stop to other travelers who are looking for halal food and a place to pray.
I forgot they also sell BIRYANI….
The food is consistently fresh and flavorful—we’ve tried the burgers, chicken, pizza and biryani, and all of it has been excellent. One thing we really appreciated is that they’re open and honest about what is halal and what’s not, which builds a lot of trust.
I think best item on the menu is the burger. Use a unique type of bun and the burger is made with Care and Love.
The owner is incredibly friendly, and the staff are welcoming and kind. On top of that, they even have a prayer area upstairs, which makes it even more convenient for Muslim travelers.
The prices are reasonable, and the overall experience—from the food to the hospitality—makes it a great stop on the road. Highly recommended if you’re heading to or from Houston and want something halal and satisfying.
There used to be a older country white lady and guy who worked here she was nice I bought a big boy bacon burger it was good, I came back months later to try the pizza. It was okay it’s better than. Little Caesars not quite pizza hut…
Pizza toppings are $1.99 per extra toppings besides cheese and 1 other topping.
Fast service, not the friendliest workers but it’s like that at most truck stop places.
It used to be a mom and pop place it’s rebranded to a stuckeys has stuckeys candy and sweets inside.
Turbo joes brand Pizzas about $15 burgers and other stuff about $10-15, smaller stuff like fries, fried Bourdain balls, cheese sticks… Small bites are under $8
For my driver’s you can fit a full size sleeper cab and 53ft trailer here… BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT. Bobtails, Day cabs, hostler, 2500s with trailers, smaller RV guys you’re fine the entrance is right off the exit, if you plan on turning in slow down! Also you cut in the same parking lot as the cars and have to slide by the side of the building…. It’s doable going northbound I would not try going southbound. Due to the tight turn. But if “skilled” enough you can make it.
Small restrooms but clean.
Has rooms I don’t know how the look or what they cost.
Dirt and rock lot for truck parking. Has some pot holes and dips but nothing extreme that would tear up anything.
3 fuel pumps with def, at this time 1 was not working
Not sure they have showers, no laundry.
5G cell service works
Parking lot isnt big enough for a ton of trucks maybe 10 if everyone “parks the right way” okay quiet place to stop for a 10 hour but not a 34
I been here twice prices are about what you expect from a truck stop / highway gas station.
I always try to support the business by buying gas or food.
Love that they have motel rooms above it, feels very retro/throwback/nifty.
The Pizza looks legit!
