I purchased 2 dinners 30 minutes ago and I am very disappointed. The fish was old and tough, the green beans were not seasoned like they were straight out of the can. The best thing was the spoon bread. I will never order food from there again. Don’t waste your money.

Ordered 2 fish dinners and the food was horrible. Idk what happened with Stuarts the food used to be so good. We got the lake trout and the fish was so thin and small it looked like they split a half in half. And they were too soft. They said the collard greens were fresh but they taste like they came straight out of a can. Just bland. We purchased cakes and rice pudding too. I called to ask about the fish and greens and the Korean lady kept basically telling me that my taste buds were off. I called to take everything back because she was so careless. She didn’t even allow me to do that. A waste of $50. The potatoes are too thick. The only thing that was good was the cakes. The rice pudding is plain. Will never go here again and I’m 4 minutes away. Terrible service from her.

Fish size and amout three was okay. But no seasoning and the damn collards right out of the can. No salt or pepper. Than order fried scallops small no seasoning. Suppose be four but they cut them to make more. No salt on the fries. No bread. In my SHIRLENN VOICE I AM DONE A REFUND!

I get the same thing everytime I go, large lake trout. It’s supposed to be 6 pieces, but because they are so small the usually give 8. I’m never disappointed with the food. The staff is generally non-chalant, but that’s not off putting in this establishment to me. There has only been one time in my dozens of trips where they were out of lake trout. It happens, wasn’t a big deal.

I always get my favorites from here. My pork chop beef liver or my meatloaf dinners. The spoon bread is the bomb. My husband loves their fish dinners. We have been customers of theirs for years. You need to try their food.

I was coming into town from New England and had the need for collard greens and hush puppies. I also got cabbage for good measure. I got the smaller portions of each, which filled me right up! And holy cow, they were all fantastically delicious!!! I don’t eat collard greens a lot so I don’t have much to compare it to, but they were cooked well and had a wonderful flavor. The cabbage was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and perfectly seasoned with a bit of salt and pepper. The hush puppies were sweet, salty, crispy, and went so well with the veggies (and there are 6 in the “small” portion!) Thank you so much!

This place has turned into garbage the last few years since the owner left. The food is cold, fish small. The food was just horrible. They are a seafood spot and sell imitation crab meat! What?! Not what it use to be.

This was my 1st time ever going into the establishment. 1st and foremost if you want people to come back tell your employees to be more friendly and greet people. 2nd your cook shouldn’t be looking at people while they are dropping food. It makes it seems like your doing horrible stuff to people’s food. I got my order I was shocked the way my fish tasted and looked like. Mac and cheese had to be sitting out for a while, fish was absolutely disgusting and witnessed the owner grabbing bottle of water and taking meds in front of me. He couldn’t go to the office and be more professional with it. I will never return foods was absolutely DISSATISFIED AND Disgusting. DO NOT EAT HERE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED
