I recently visited Strizzi’s in Fremont. The pasta and Cajun chicken were good. On the other hand, the bread, salad, and especially the clam chowder were absolutely delicious – definitely the highlights of the meal. The lemonade, however, was disappointing and lacked flavor. Overall, a decent spot with some standout items.

I always feel so welcome at Strizzi’s, thanks especially to Jessica, Jessa, Brenda and Evelyn. They greet me warmly every time I come in, take my order quickly, and the food arrives before I even know it and it’s always fresh, always delicious. I almost always go with something simple, like spaghetti marinara, and I swear it’s the best I’ve had anywhere. More than anything, what keeps me coming back are those amazing servers: they’re the sweetest, most genuine people you could hope to meet. Their kindness and care make the whole experience feel personal, and that turns a meal into something special. I can’t recommend Strizzi’s highly enough.

⭐️ 1/5 – Extremely Poor Service and Concerning Behavior

We visited this restaurant this evening, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The food and service were far below acceptable standards. We waited over an hour for our order, and even though we had only requested three items, they arrived one at a time with long delays in between. We were later told that a new server had mistakenly picked up our orders multiple times, which only added to the disorganization.

While mistakes happen, what concerned us far more was the difference in treatment we observed. Our server was also attending to another couple seated just a few feet away, and the level of attention and care provided to them was noticeably different from the service we received. The contrast was so stark that it came across as dismissive and disrespectful. This is not the first time we’ve encountered this issue here—my wife has had a similar experience in the past—which makes it even more unsettling.

The food itself was below average. Even basic details were overlooked: although it’s an Italian restaurant, we were served bread without butter and had to ask for it.

The restaurant did waive one item from our check, but the overall experience left us feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Consistency, respect, and basic service standards were simply not present. We will not be returning.

We are a family that love Italian food. This place is great. Staff is friendly and offer a nice service. Restroom and in general the restaurant is clean.
We were there on a weekend and it wasn’t crowded, we got a table immediately.
The size of the portions is moderate, don’t expect a super big plate, which is good for me. From the kids menu, is a perfect size, not too small.
I recommend the cheesy bread and my favorite entree was the Salmon saute.

I was out with Triple T, and Eightball, not really bustin things up, but we weren’t holding anything back either, and we ended up in Fremont of all places! Well, it not our fault because those pesky Oakland Pinkerton boys told us to get on the hwy going south and don’t come back! Anyway..We found Strizzi’s Italian Restaurant where we were welcomed like long lost family, and had an Amazing dinner. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

Fast food American version of “Italian”. Pasta from a box. Sauce from a jar. This food is as Italian as the spare tire in my Subaru. What cheap garbage. This place wouldn’t make it past opening night in any major city, but I suppose it passes a 4 star review in the good food void of the world – The Bay Area. I’m so tired of the lack of effort.

The food was pretty average. For its prices, I would rather go elsewhere.
The bread was not even hot and very chewy. The Caesar salad was too cheesy and our entrees devoid of any flavor. Would recommend avoiding

Service was top shelf, fast friendly and courteous! The Cajun chicken risotto was so delicious. Since we are from Texas we would have liked a little more seasoning/heat on the chicken but it was so good! Drinks were spot on!

I’d submit pictures but I ate it all. The meatballs are OUTSTANDING! Must try! Delicious! Don’t order the Brussel sprouts though. It’s a disgrace to Italian cuisine. Why it would be a good idea to add Asian flavored sugar coated Brussel sprouts with sesame seeds to Italian cuisine is beyond me. I was so confused when they came out. They weren’t too bad but still, why? I came for Italian food not Asian food. But I digress. Get the meatballs! The lasagna was good. The pizza was fresh. You can taste the cheese fresh dough.
