Very nice and cosy place. Visited only once as I needed some breakfast while visiting st albans. Wasn’t dissapointed, tasty breakfast, served really noce, very good cappucino. Will definitely visit again in future

My family and my girlfriend went to Street Cafe for breakfast on Saturday and had an amazing experience. We were sat upstairs, but the atmosphere across the whole place was absolutely lovely. The coffee was amazing and the food was next level. Thoroughly enjoyable experience, would highly recommend.

Best cafe in St Albans! I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area. The food is so fresh and delicious, menu has lots of options and drinks are also 10/10. The service is also very good, staff are fast and attentive. It’s clear that a lot of work has been put into this cafe, after a brilliant renovation. Will definitely be coming back!

The food / menu here is fab. Have been four times and everything we’ve all had each time has been very good. I dropped one point on service as we had to ask for our deposit to be deducted from the bill when it came. The atmosphere downstairs might be better, upstairs wasn’t great and we do need a way to get the waitresses attention as there are more tables downstairs

We booked a table at this cafe because of its location and because of the friendliness of the owner Peter, when I explained we were coming back to St Albans for the first time since moving away five years ago, and wanted a rendezvous for various friends. We started with a delicious breakfast with a couple of friends at 9.30am, and were still there at 2.30pm, having worked our way through coffee, lunch and cakes as friends came and went! Our party size varied from four to seven, ordering different things at different times, but the service was always excellent with no muddles or mistakes, and the food and drinks fresh and appetizing throughout. We shall certainly return on our next visit, hopefully at a time of year when we could sit outside under their beautiful painted wisteria wall. Thank you, Peter!

I visited The Street Café last night with 14 friends for a tapas evening, and it was truly exceptional. The food was out of this world—every dish was incredibly delicious with a fantastic range of choices. The service was impeccable from start to finish, and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed night out.
A huge thank you to Rita, the superb chef, and all the staff for giving us such a memorable evening. I’ve been before for their amazing brunches, but after this experience, I’ll definitely be coming in the evenings as well. Can’t wait to go back!

I spent a wonderful evening here with friends on Friday. We shared various tapas dishes which were all really tasty and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly and a great evening was had by all. I’d highly recommend this place.
