Ran out of everything by 12:30, no announcement, people waiting in line for nothing. Sunday but not even that busy. Just a total fail for no good reason. Staff was really nice though!

Chill little place tucked into a corner of the resort & at the base of my favorite place to lap on the mountain. Not a big selection, but a good place to stop and recharge a bit. Only downside, no real views from here.

The Strawberry Patio is a complete design failure. There is no easy access to drinking water and the restrooms unless you walk on the snow to the back of the building. The restrooms and the lobby are small. There is a water fountain but you don’t know if the crowds waiting there are for the restrooms or the water. The ground is swamped with water, and there are tables there, what’s the point? The building sits on a large flat area, it’s a pain to reach DeMoisy chairlifts. If I didn’t love Snowbasin that much I would have given this facility 1 star. It was designed with no love or care, and does not live up to Snowbasin’s reputation, what a shame.

Very limited offerings and they were closed by 2:50 and it is advertised to close at 3:30. It makes it very inconvenient to have to go the the base for food and refreshment

The person staffing the Chicken & Fries booth was clearly under the influence, she kept on getting our order wrong, kept having to ask clarifying questions, then it turned out that she charged us for two items but we only got one item. After trying to explain to her that we never got fries, she seemed confused, eventually we got the fries, by then the sandwich was cold, and they didn’t include sauce. Overall food was ok, but not worth what they charge. But if you’re resort management and you’re reading this, you really should make sure that your employees aren’t high at work.

Not a stop for food. This building only has a door on the backside to go to the restrooms. There is no other space for the public inside this building. The food stands face up slope and there’s a ton of chairs and tables but really only a place to eat what you brought yourself. The stands “ran out of food” by the time we stopped for lunch. 3 stands. There was no cheese steaks at all, but there was definitely some grilling on the thing. No chicken, and I asked several times cuz I needed to give my child something other than cookies fries or chips which is what they said they had left. Went back to get the sauce that was supposed to come with the fries and the dude in front of me somehow got a chicken po boy, and was told he got the last chicken of the day. Like, seriously? I just asked you multiple times three minutes ago to be sure cuz I thought it was crazy y’all were out of real food. Cool. Great sunny spot to hang outside, but that’s it.

This place closes early and well ahead of the Strawberry gondola closing time. Don’t plan on getting anything to eat or drink here unless you happen to be there at the short time that they are open. They also closed for the season early. We stopped in on March 25th and found they were closed for the season. I highly recommend you bring your own food and beverage to the Strawberry side of the mountain.

Everything at this resort is 5 star. Food is awesome, lodges are top notch, the workers are extremely nice and helpful, and if you’ve ever talked to anyone about coming here, I guarantee you’ve heard these words “I know it sounds weird, but you’ve gotta try the bathrooms!” If you’re a local or visiting from out of town, Snow Basin is always highly recommended.
