Absolutely outstanding experience at Corky’s BBQ in North Little Rock! I have to give a huge shoutout to our waitress, Nichole — she was AMAZING. Due to a staffing issue, she was literally running the entire floor by herself, and you would have never known it from her attitude or service. She was on top of everything, juggling multiple tables effortlessly, staying upbeat, attentive, and genuinely kind the whole time. She truly made the entire experience.

On top of the exceptional service, the food portions are insanely huge and the prices are very reasonable. You definitely get your money’s worth here. This was my first time at Corky’s, but it will absolutely not be my last.

Nichole deserves major recognition — she worked her butt off and represented Corky’s incredibly well. Can’t wait to come back!

The best part of this place was the service. I wanted to try the barbecue because I love barbecue, but it was Friday night they had catfish so that’s what I had to go with. I haven’t had fried okra in forever so I got a double order. Way too much food, which you can’t complain about. The catfish was good but just good. I did try their sausage, I found it flavorful it had a good snap to the casing, but the inside was maybe just a little too mushy for me. They brought me each of their barbecue sauces to taste. They were quite interesting, see the picture. The hot barbecue was my favorite. The honey had a very strong honey flavor if you like that, for my taste a little bit too sweet. I did enjoy the Apple barbecue sauce. I took a banana pudding to go and it was good as well. I thought this was a well priced place and good food.

Ol Barts is my favorite Bar/Restaurant. The food is fantastic, the service is even better. The staff all go ” above and beyond “. Aranda, Kristin, Nicki nail it every time. The cooks know what they’re doing. Bart, the owner knows food and people. You can’t go wrong at Ol Barts.

Today we had Corky’s NLR cater for 25 people at my office. We had pulled pork, buns, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, and banana pudding, with a gallon of sweet tea and a gallon of unsweet tea. All of the food is absolutely wonderful! I have been eating here for many years now, and it is one of my favorite BBQ places. I recently went to an event in North Little Rock, which was catered by Corky’s, and that’s why I wanted to use them. I spoke to Eric and Whitney on the phone. It is my understanding they are the managers. They helped me plan and decide on what would be best. I think they have great customer service. When I went to pick up the food, they brought it out to my car in the pouring rain while remaining friendly and happy! I highly recommend this place and commend their staff for being so kind and helpful!

Never been to this restaurant so I decided to try it. I didn’t see anyone in the drive-through(lunch time). I understand why now. My 1/2 slab ribs taste old and dry. The meat tastes as if parts of it was going bad. The ribs taste as if they were cooked a week ago. The peach cobbler was refrigerator cold, and the peaches had a metallic taste, the dough was gummy and stale. The macaroni and cheese had a good flavor but it too was not fresh at all. The okra was okay, what can I say, about bagged okra. The window cashier was nice and he said I would love the food and gave me extra sauce. Man! That was so far from the truth. If I could give no stars I would. I paid $25.85 for old, stale leftovers. Bummer!!

My husband and I took ourselves, our toddler & baby to eat dinner here tonight. I was excited because it used to be a great place to eat growing up. Our service was absolutely amazing and super fast.
Every single piece of food we ate tasted frozen. Even the coleslaw tasted like it had been freezer burnt. The ribs came out semi cold as well. Throughout dinner, the manager kept coming in & out of the kitchen, and since we were right by the doors, we could see in. There was probably an inch or more of grease in each corner. That unfortunately wasn’t even the worst part. While we were eating, we literally saw a MOUSE run thru the kitchen, and the MANAGER noticed it, kicked it, and then went on about his business like he was aware there were mouse in the building. We got our bill as quickly as we could and got out. Not only am I disgusted that my toddler ate the food, I am also a breastfeeding mom and if there was any contamination to the food from literal rodents being inside, my baby milk will unfortunately be contaminated, and that’s a very scary situation.

We arrived right after 11:00 am today, so we were the first people there. Our server was absolutely wonderful. My husband had the pulled pork dinner and I had the smoked sausage dinner. The pork was dry and flavorless and the smoked sausage was old. Either they don’t smoke their sausage in house and it comes pre-cut, or this sausage was leftovers because the casing on it shrunk and dried out. My husbands pulled pork was so dry he didn’t eat much because he doesn’t like drenching it in sauce. On the upside, the rolls with honey were really good as were the fried dill pickles.

My husband and I anticipated having a barbecue dinner at Corky’s Barbecue on McCain Blvd in No. Little Rock. Sad to say that we were both disappointed by the quality of our sandwiches.
Kennedy, our server, was great! This young lady has a million watt smile & great personality! She’s sweet, checked on us often. I give her 5⭐’s.
After we ordered, she brought a basket of warm, homemade rolls. Butter & mild honey is on each table. The honey is perfect to drizzle the rolls with!
I ordered Onion Rings as an appetizer. When the O-Rings arrived, they were hot from the oil. They really needed to have drained them a few minutes, before serving.
The O-Rings were thick, well battered slices of onion. The onions were good thick slices, no skinny, burnt pieces arrived in the large basket. The Barbecue Ranch Dip was interesting, not bad. It’s a mild Barbecue flavor, with the Ranch on the back. Personally, I prefer regular Ranch to dip in.
Our plates arrived soon after the Rings. We both ordered jumbo pork sandwiches, with slaw. I got a side order of fried okra. My husband got 2 half-order sides, fries & barbecue beans.
The Barbecue Sauce is in a bottle on the tables for you to sauce your sandwich as you like.
The first thing that I noticed was that the meat was dry, dark, overcooked. It was scattered on the bun. The buns were not piled with meat, they weren’t even covered in meat. The meat didn’t cover the bottom bun.
The slaw on my sandwich wasn’t a serving, it didn’t cover the pork. It looked like slaw was put on with a teaspoon, not a serving spoon, I had about half the slaw needed to cover my sandwich.
When I took the first bite of my sandwich, I knew my disappointment was more than visual. Instead of tender, juicy pulled pork, I was chewing on dry chunks. I think the Pork was dried out by multiple reheats, each reheat caused the pork to get drier & harder.
I ate one bite of my sandwich, I was done. Instead, I nibbled on O-Rings, okra & fries. I brought the whole Sandwich home. My husband ate only half of his sandwich, its very unusual for him not to eat his whole sandwich. He didn’t enjoy his either.
We enjoyed the warm, delicious rolls, fries, O-rings, beans & okra. The 2 sandwiches were big disappointments. We won’t be back again.

Do not go to this location. Make the drive to WLR. My ribs are burnt and dry. The baked beans are dried out and look like refried beans. Potato salad is sweet. My roll was smashed as flat as the styrofoam ToGo box. This is very disappointing, and a complete 180 from the other location. I wish I could get my money back, because I ended up eating ramen noodles for dinner instead.

Chicken Fried Steak with fries and Fried Okra was fabulous. My server Sydney was very nice and personable . She listened and gave me good advice about my meal. I wish I lived closer so I could come more often.
