“Strati” on Barranca/San Bernardino in Covina….it’s hard to understand how you pay $30 for food but don’t get it how you order it. I asked for 2 breakfast burritos with Extra, Extra, Extra, Extra Crispy Hash Brown, even told them, I’d would wait. I was in line for 10 mins waiting and they still gave me “Raw” potatoes. There isn’t a Crispy part in this potatoes. They were uncooked and hard, we’ve tried over and over again to give them a chance. Just don’t understand why they would give Raw potatoes, is anyone else having this issue with this place….time for us to find another place for breakfast burritos. Nothing special about this place the burger was like all other burger spots in L.A. but with that said I missed the charbroiled burgers you can only get in L.A. the zucchini though was what I really wanted. I moved to Vegas over 17 yrs ago, so anytime I have a chance to go to a good burger stand in L.A. I do. This was the only place open late and in the area so we went. The man at the register put heavy sauces a bunch of napkins placed the order in a plastic bag with no vent holes. By the time we got home to eat the zucchini was smashed and soggy with no flavor not even salt. Long story short will not go again.

Start off by saying, staff is very friendly! Food was very tasty and generous in portions for the zucchini & fries! I was very pleased when I asked for lettuce wrap and they accommodated my request! Prices are perfect. Everything was packed nicely in a box at the drive thru!

Starving after fasting for blood work and this place was nearby so I stopped to try a breakfast combo burrito. Fist bite in the car was meh, but once you added the salsa, it was the difference maker. I just wish I had extra salsa, it was that good. Not spicy, just tasty.
The real star of the show was the biscuits and gravy. For $5, you get a whole container full of biscuits and gravy. Really just four halves of biscuits, topped with gravy, but the gravy was really really tasty. The gravy even had a spicy kick to it which I really liked.
Pro tips: get the biscuits and gravy and ask for extra salsa!!!! I did, but only got one. Ask for two or three!!!

I was bit disappointed in my kabob plate. I go the optional chicken and beef kabobs and both were dry. It took longer than expected so I had to make it to go. The salad was fresh but the pita was barely and couldn’t make up for the jerky dryness in the kabobs. I’m going to go back so I can try a burger and fries and see how it goes

Our new favorite everything spot, this is a nice spot indoor and outdoor , the people are really nice the food better than you think. Haven’t had the salads , but they look amazing, this weekend I had the menudo ( weekends only) and yes it has hominy. And yes it’s good. Juice is a little on the thick side , but great flavor. Way better than two Mexican restaurants that I frequent, so that tells you something. The 2 2 2 combo is great for pancakes and eggs and bacon. Went to the cemetery with the family and after this was great for everyone to join . Oh the the syrup is thick too for the pancakes, just saying , good stuff.. fyi I’m back here today !! 4 times in 2 months , this place is good ,

Their Chili cheese fries are a hit and miss. One day they’re good then the next time there’s hardly any chili on them like today. I basically got cheese fries. I never understand this. Just don’t sell them then and sell cheese fries instead. And I asked for a large when she asked “what size”. But she gave me a small.

Call me old school but I believe in service with a smile and a grateful worker. Happy to provide to the public. I felt like I was wasting their time and they did not really care about why I was there. “Anything else”, I can still hear it echoing in my head. A smile goes a long way. I would recommend a customer service overhaul.
