Was greeted by two lovely young men who took our orders verbally and passed along the info – nothing written or put into a computer. I found that to be quite impressive because we even made some modifications to our coffees. I had to try their cinnamon roll and my friend got their almond croissant. So 3 coffees and 2 pastries and it totaled to …$55 and so I spent $66 after tipping. I must say that was a lot steeper than I expected but it was a very famous place and it was very busy.
We managed to find a spot to sit with the 4 of us and another employee came by and offered us water which was so kind. We also had a nice view out the window so that was a plus for ambiance.
The lattes were solid, I mean for $12 it had to be lol
But I have to say, my first bite into the cinnamon roll launched me into heaven. I’ve never had anything like it before. You get a small pourer on the side of the warm frosting, the cinnamon roll was so perfectly crispy on the outside and had a dense chew on the inside. It was almost like a glaze that gave it this orgasmic mouth feel. INCREDIBLE. The croissant was also very delicious but I will come back for that cinnamon roll any day. We enjoyed our time there and my only qualm is that it was quite pricey but they do a really good job there. The quality was top notch! A must go to if you’re in Pikes place market!
The Vanilla Latte we savored was nothing short of exceptional, with a perfectly balanced flavor profile that wasn’t too sweet. The Almond Croissant, was buttery and flaky, it was a true delight, complementing the coffee beautifully.
While waiting in line, we registered for souvenir cups, a charming keepsake. ☕️
The staff’s friendly and attentive service elevated the experience, made it truly unforgettable.
The cozy ambiance, coupled with an emphasis on craftsmanship, made this coffee shop a unique haven to relax and unwind. This enchanting coffee shop is a veritable gem in Seattle, an absolute must-visit ☺️
First off, I had the best Vanilla Latte of my life here the flavor was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. We also tried the Almond Croissant, which was flaky, buttery, and exactly what you want with a morning coffee.
You can also avail their souvenir cups by a simple registration while you wait in queue. Make sure to keep time at hand given the waiting queues and the peak time during the twee hours.
I also love the history behind it; Storyville honors the spirit of an Indigenous traditional coffee place, focusing on craftsmanship and a ‘private’ feel that makes you want to stay all day. It’s a must-visit in Seattle!
It’s crunchy caramalized sugar & cinnamon on the outside, a flaky croissant-like dough, full of cinnamon and gooey goodness as you progress to the heart.
Important to note: it’s ACROSS the street from Pikes Place market – and up inside a building. Find it. You’ll be glad you did!
The coffee was tasty too and the service was superb!
I love the decor here.
Most of the items are quite expensive- but what I tried, I loved!
I will certainly return anytime I’m in town!
The space itself is gorgeous, warm wood accents, plush leather seating, soft lighting, and big windows that let you look out over the Market and toward the waterfront. It feels cozy yet stylish, almost like a chic airport lounge where you can relax above the chaos below. Perfect spot to sip slowly and just take it all in.
We loved the coffee here so much we literally came back four days in a row! Lol. Everything was consistently smooth, rich, and perfectly crafted. On top of that, the pastries are a must! We tried the famous frosted cinnamon roll and the brownie cookie and both were absolutely delicious.
Another fun surprise: they were giving away free Storyville mugs if you sign up. I somehow ended up with three altogether… lol, no regrets!
But what really makes this place stand out is the staff, super friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. They make you feel welcome right away and keep the vibe relaxed even when it’s busy.
Overall, Storyville is the kind of cafe that feels both special and comforting. Definitely worth seeking out if you’re wandering through Pike Place Market.
The coffee is outstanding, whether it’s an Americano, latte, or espresso, every cup is rich, smooth, and perfectly made. And the pastries are just as impressive, especially the Frosted Cinnamon Roll… an absolute must.
With its cozy atmosphere and consistently top tier quality, this is hands down the best coffee place in Seattle, and easily one of my favorite cafés anywhere in the world. ☕✨
This is hands-down the best place in the area for coffee. While I was initially surprised by the price of the coffee, I quickly realized the quality and flavor are absolutely worth the cost. This shop serves the best latte and cappuccino in the area—the espresso flavor is rich, balanced, and truly excellent.
The service was just as stunning as the drinks. The servers are genuinely friendly and attentive; I especially appreciated being provided with water after my coffee was served.
As many have mentioned, you must try the cinnamon roll! It makes for the perfect pairing with their coffee.
Highly recommended for a premium coffee experience and top-notch service.
The only thing that was missing here were vegan dessert options, I hope they add at least one vegan pastry option in future.
