These guys have consistently good quality meat. I cook a LOT of beef, most of which is raised on our farm. Occasionally I am looking for a cut that I don’t order when we have our beef processed. I regularly get flank and whole sirloin cap here and they are both very good.

This is a wonderful fresh meat market. One of our favorites is the pre-formed bacon cheddar beef chuck patties sold in sets of 3 and frozen. Photos of the ingredients and price, and the cooked patties with bacon pieces and cheese cubes embedded in the ground chuck. Then, with a slice of cheddar on top (never too much cheese) and ready to eat. They have many packaged dips perfect for parties, evening snacks or just because. Fresh meats, Jerry, sausages and cheese of all sorts. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

I stopped in today to pick up the smoked chicken dip, which is so good. I then ordered the Pilgrims Pride panini, which was probably the most delicious sandwich I’ve ever had. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Great job!!

They need to step back and appreciate their customers. The owner and staff are rude and make you feel like they are doing you a service by being open. The quality is slipping. Never had a bad ribeye until recently the past few have been unimpressive.

Wow!! I cannot believe up until recently I had never heard of this place. I am a chef and for years I have lived off and on in the area. Sort of saddened that I missed out on this superb market for so long. The first time I purchased anything from Story’s it was a beef filet which was outstanding. They trimmed and tied it perfectly. It was so beautiful I almost didn’t want to cook it. Recently I was in the Cedar Springs area and I mentioned the place to my husband and he decided we should stop in. We grabbed a couple things but I really want to mention the incredible thick cut marinated pork steaks they had on special. $3.29/lb I would have paid $12/lb they were that good. I cooked them on the grill with indirect heat and they were tender, juicy and the flavor was 5 star. They just melted in your mouth. High 5’s to Story’s. Keep up the great work and I will be sure to be visiting more often. Too bad you don’t deliver to White Cloud. Oh and to mention you carry Boar’s Head meats!! The Best!!!
