Fri March 20 & Fri April 24 there will only be grab n go options, no made to order items. We are a deli with counter service, serving ethnic specialties including Falafel, Fish Tacos, Noodle Bowls, Banh Mi, as well as other hot sandwiches like Cheesesteak, Smoked Brisket, and BBQ Pork. We also serve cold sandwiches and sushi, & sushi specials and have lots of salads. All our meats are roasted in house, all our dressings and sauces are made here. We bake fresh bread Tuesday-Friday. We serve organic ingredients as much as possible. We are open for hot food specials Tuesday – Friday, 11-3, otherwise you can still shop our grab and go whenever the New Moon is open, 7 days a week 9-7, 6pm on Sundays. We are located inside New Moon Natural Foods.

this cafe inside the grocery store is so cute ~ my sister and i had a great experience. she got the leaf eater sandwich and i got the thai coconut noodle bowl with tofu & udon noodles. we also bought a whole baguette, & the was baked so well. we sat outside and it was peaceful 🙂

i was underwhelmed by the rolls i got with basil, papaya, mango, avocado, and carrot . the ratios felt off to me, it was very strongly basil flavored and the rice wasn’t very sort. i appreciated the clearly marked vegetarian options and the creative options but didn’t end up enjoying my food much

Love love loved this place. It’s a cute little restaurant inside a grocery store. They have outdoor seating but we were in in a snow storm, so had to manage with the limited space indoors. But the food and the people were so good. My husband took the leaf eater and I took the teriyaki udon noodle soup. Both were Yum. We even took a pesto baguette to-go. Everything about this place is to fall in love with.

Delicious little deli! Stopped in for a quick lunch and we were pleasantly surprised with the high quality ingredients and tasty meals. I had the shrimp spring roll and it was delicious, it comes with the best peanut sauce you will ever have. We will be back!

The food here is incredible. I had the thai coconut noodle bowl with chicken & a brownie. I honestly cannot stop thinking about the noodle bowl – the broth was out of this world flavorful and it was packed with chicken & fresh veggies. The brownie was probably the best brownie I have ever had, so this was a top meal in my book. I would 10/10 dine here again.

Definitely a great option if you are looking for some healthy choices in Tahoe City. I opted for the the slightly less healthy “Cheesesteak Sando”. It did not disappoint! Made 2 meals out of half of that, half a fresh spring roll (also very tasty, with a great dipping sauce), and a nice warm fresh out of the oven fudgey brownie!
