What a true local gem. The family feel and the friendly service give this diner a great atmosphere. The food was outstanding. The deli benny’s were perfectly cooked, soft fluffy muffin, super flavorful pastrami, exactly the right amount of sauce, everything was just right. The side of potatoes could have been a bit crispier. The biscuits and gravy were tasty, a lot of flavor in the gravy, biscuits were dense. The dishes are very reasonably priced.

The food was incredible at the place and the service was even better. My two friends and I happened upon this place and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and made to feel more than welcome. Our server, Vinny, was INCREDIBLE! My friends got the French dip, the open faced roast beef sandwiches and I got the short rib sandwich. The were all incredible but Vinny said the short rib was the best thing on the menu so I got it. I 100% AGREE! It was the most tender short rib and it just melted in my mouth! Plus, the fries were outstanding as well. We had come in from a hike and got hot chocolate & even that was amazing! Aside from the food being great, the servings were big and the price was not!

Good portions, great taste and decent prices with everything you expect from a diner and more. The staff is friendly and patient, ample indoor seating, car parking and they also have a nice Fall themed special menu.

This place is amazing. Great food and great people. The waiters are very attentive and the host goes above and beyond. I recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food did not disappoint. I got the special which was lemon oregano chicken and as simple as it looks it is delicious for what it is. I also want to add that this place has amazing coffee. I know it might not be of importance to some but I really was impressed. It was later on in the day and usually places have old tasting coffee at that point but not Hogan’s.

After getting some great exercise in Bear Mountain with my Bro, we went to Stony Point Family Diner to get lunch which was absolutely delicious with the employee’s being respectful as ever. The pricing was very good. I love the outside, definitely the inside also. All the Holiday stuff that they had up looked beautiful.

Your typical diner food. It was very good. Service was good. It was very busy so they were a little slow on the coffee refills. That’s always expected. When diners are very busy. I would definitely go again and I would definitely recommend if you’re in Stony point to go to this diner.

Visited this establishment with my family for breakfast today 3/25/23. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess who brought us to our table. Our server was nice and attentive. My parents and I each had a small orange juice & my sister had coffee. My mom had Denver Wrap w/ home fries which she absolutely enjoyed, my sister had a vegetarian omelette w/ home fries, she loved it, my dad and I had the country fried steak & eggs, he opted for home fries, I had extra crispy fries, we both loved it, the best country fried steak we’ve had in a long time. This is a great family diner and as a Culinarian Foodie I Highly Recommend Stony Point Family Diner. Definitely will be back for another meal!
