I recently inquired about the services for music performances including A list artist to bring to the local community for entertainment along side myself. I was highly confident they would respond considering I was very professional about the context. They simply ignored me completely, and seem to refuse to respond. This is now the SECOND Hip Hop artist based individual they have done this to. I strongly believe they use discrimination towards artist that perform HipHop. As they just had a fired NBA player Myers Lenard perform country music for our local community. As an event center, it shouldn’t matter the context, but the fact you’re hosting an event for lucrative profit. I recommend avoiding this establishment if your seeking to perform Hip Hop music in the Southern Illinois area as they blatantly seem to dislike it which leads me to wonder about the moral structure the owners carry.

Food and Service was catered, Always good Atmosphere when at Stoney Ridge. Whatever the occasion, Always have a good time. Plenty of space for weddings, company parties, Birthday parties, Family Reunions.

Very Spacious and Accoustics friendly. As a DJ the facility was easy to access for power they have perforated tin to eat up the sound. You get a clean sound and little to no reverberations off the wall. The only complaint I there was no easy way to get my equipment in or out to where I had to set up my equipment.

I have Dj’d at quite a few places. This place is exceptionally nice. It’s massive. It can seat a lot of people, and still have plenty of room for tables, catering, dj, bands, etc. It’s big. There is a nice composite deck on the side with a pond stocked full of catfish. The electricity is solid. Plugins wherever you need them. No breakers tripped, and the rig I was running was big. They have nice lighting. They have a kitchen. They have a nice entry foyer that we lit up with par lights. It’s pretty much the nicest building for a wedding and reception in the Southern Illinois area. There is even a gymnastics set up on one end of the building, and a nice white backdrop to hide it from view during a wedding. Though children could absolutely rage back there during the reception. There are lots of chairs, tables, and decor available for rental as well. I highly recommend hosting a big event here. Hit me up for DJ services if you need them.

Floor is terrible to walk on and when your setting in the horrible chairs and someone walks near you your whole body moves. Chairs look nice just very uncomfortable after time. Nice facility and great parking.

This is not a restaurant as google describes. Large event center, beautiful, had our reception there. Area does not have transportation back into town which could cause issues for receptions and drinking.
