The stone town tavern is combined with the vietnamese restaurant next door, Thanh Pho Vietnam.
One side of the menu had the tavern and the other the vietnamese restaurant.
The staff here was amazing and friendly. They provide good recommendations as well as explained any questions I had such as how the ordering from two restaurants works.
I had the Pho with medium rare beef and my kids had the grilled cheese and cheese burger meal. The kids meal came with Fries. Nothing special about the kids meal, it was decently priced and tasted good.
For the pho, it was good as it was recommended to me by the wait staff but something was different. I’ve been to many pho restaurants and I think the broth was a bit on the sweeter side. Also the beef slices were a bit thicker and the broth wasn’t hot enough. Didn’t get to cook the rare meat all the way and left a slightly cooked beefy flavor mixed with the broth. The noodles and toppings were good.
Overall, I would go back and check out this restaurant. I would like to try other foods here. A unique experience and atmosphere.
When you are near Lake Raystown, do yourself a favor and make a point to go to Stone Town Tavern!
You will not regret it. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with beautiful hard woods everywhere. It has an artistic flare that makes you want to keep coming back. I notice something new every time I’m here.
Now the really important stuff. The staff is incredibly friendly and you soon feel like part of the family. Deb, Taylor, Corbi, Taan, Beth, Belinda, Terry and the rest of the staff make guests feel right at home.
From burgers to Vietnamese Pho, to wings and salads, the menu offers a wide selection.
Great food. Great people…ohh wait, did I mention the back patio?
I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Enjoy Stone Town my friends!
