Stone Canyon Pizza in Parkville is a local favorite with great food and a lively atmosphere. The setting in historic downtown Parkville adds plenty of charm, and it’s also perfect for carryout.
Their Buffalo Blue Pizza isn’t on the menu anymore, but they’ll still make it if you ask. It’s the best pizza I’ve ever had, buffalo chicken, blue cheese, and just enough celery for a perfect balance. Tell them Michael sent you.
It can get a bit loud during busy times, especially when major games are on the TVs, but that’s part of the fun. A consistently great spot for pizza lovers in a beautiful Parkville location.

A friend took me here while I was visiting. We enjoyed lunch – the chicken salad sandwich was wonderful. We also had iced tea and a salad. Our waitress was very attentive and the place was fun and unique. He watched the KC Royals on TV.

We’ve heard about this place for years and finally decided to try it during the end of Parkville Days! Our small group of three decided to order a pepperoni and cheese pizza and the chicken and mushroom soup and we were all very satisfied! Our great server, Dylan served up our food fast and was also very polite and recommended that we try their exotic cakes for desert which we took several to go! We highly suggest Stone Canyon Pizza for any size group for any occasion! They have a nice western style bar and atmosphere that matched the history of Parkville, Missouri along the Mighty Missouri River bank! Always a great place for a day trip ‘

Went in to celebrate my grandmas birthday tonight. Our waiter was absolutely fabulous but the reason I’m leaving this review is because when another employee (I think he was a host and his name was Caleb) delivered my grandma her salad and dropped the little black cup of ranch on the floor and it got all over my grandmas purse and the only thing he said was “sorry” in a mumbling little voice, didn’t even BOTHER to clean it up, this kid looked about early 20’s a little over 6ft tall , he was a white male, looks like he’s about half asleep, super scrawny with a middle part. So he left my 80 year old GRANDMA to clean up the restaurant FLOOR and her purse. Caleb, if your reading this I hope that next time you have atleast a little bit of decency to show that you care just a little bit and clean up the mess that YOU made, I think you need to lay off of the weed and really focus when your at work. My family and I will not be back, thanks to Caleb for ruining my grandmas new purse that she had just gotten today for her birthday.

I was here the night Molly was and I am a regular who was sitting at the bar with 3 others. There was no one was taking videos. Hard stop. Did the manager need to support the bar? Yes. But the bartender is the farthest from rude!!! She’s a gem and good at her job.
We did notice it was odd that a wedding party didn’t avail themselves to the private party space – which I am confident was offered!!! Sarah, the main manager, is a consummate professional who fills that room regularly.
And for context, we held my brother-in-law’s 70th birthday here. BUT we called in advance for our party of 30+, reserved the upstairs, and had a FABULOUS time. SCP is a WONDERFUL place – food, drink and service!!!

My husband and I totally loved our lunch. He’s a pizza fanatic and super picky, but the pizza was amazing! The price was awesome and worth every bite! Make sure to ask for Piper, our waitress was super nice and went above and beyond. Oh, and the pumpkin martini was exquisite and a must-try if you love pumpkin drinks. Same goes for the coffee milk stout if you’re into coffee and beer.

Stopped in for dinner and had a great experience! Food was delicious and the hand crafted drinks (pumpkin martini) was fantastic! Grand Canyon pizza was their speciality pizza and would order it again and again! Bartender was friendly and attentive throughout the night. Highly recommend!

Decided to finally try this place and made a phone order and the lady on the phone was very nice and easy to work with. Went in and got my pizza and pretzel and the place was nice and clean and the staff was clean and friendly. The pizza was amazing actually tastes hand made was the best pizza I’ve had around the area and I’ve been to New York and Chicago the ingredients tasted fresh. The pretzel was really good also. Definitely want to go back and try more food here.

Oh man! Lunch on Friday was fantastic. Philly cheese steak and walnut chicken salad wrap was exceptional. Loved the cool atmosphere. Full bar. Good selection of beers on tap. Our server Lataunya was very polite, knowledgeable and had a great smile. We were celebrating my friend’s birthday and they gave her a cookie!! So nice to just sit and relax. Great place….must visit agsin.
