Good and friendly service, tasty food, clean, and well decorated Korean restaurant. Highly rated as well. For me, the taste was bit too sweet, the mains and the side dishes. Like the famous and now infamous (i.e., recently challenged) Korean chef, Paik, Jong-Won, the chef here may be leaning to using higher dose of sugar in various recipes. In any case, it is a good restaurant in general and I would recommend this place unless you are seeking lower-simple-carb diet.

I tried this place because a really good friend of mine recommended it, she raves about the food and the barley tea! The flavors were amazing!!!
I don’t know if I will go back tho, the woman who seated my husband and I was less than friendly, she didn’t want to answer questions about the menu. She kept raising her eyebrow every time I had a question about the menu. This really disappointed our experience, we are trying to eat more Korean food as we plan to visit Seoul soon.

Enjoyed the food! They were a bit short staffed when I came but that certainly didn’t take away from my experience. The food was great— came out relatively quick, and I was sat quickly too.

I recommend the Bulgogi plate— can easily be shared between two people but I ordered it for myself and kept the left overs.

Great little place for authentic Korean cuisines. Perfect place for a casual date or an outing with friends. The service at the time was a little slow and they seemed understaffed at the time. The food was excellent overall. The Gal Bi was a little on the pricier side, but tasted great. The bibimbap was delicious and hot. Definitely will be back to try other things.

The food was excellent! We had the braised short ribs which were phenomenal!
Service was lacking, we had to get get the server 3 times after waiting for someone to come over and then they got the order wrong (they did fix it though).
The table next to us was so loud that we couldn’t hear ourselves.

Solid 4-star. Seafood pancake was very good, a bit on the doughy side. The 8 sides were great, especially the potatoes very unique. The spicy squid with veggies was a bit too sweet & saucy, was hoping for more squid. The boiled pork belly was good. The Galbi steak was tasty, but the beef was not very tender. Overall good tasty foods. Good friendly service. We did not order their stone rice bowls, which looked pretty delicious.

This place has incredible food! I have never been this satisfied with a meal before! The food is filling and balanced with lots of protein and vegetables. I will be eating here whenever I come to Atlanta!

Brought my family here, and our first impression was that the wait was ridiculous during a weekday at 1pm. We were sitting for about 25 mins before someone brought us drinks and took our order. It looked like only one lady was serving, bussing, and helping cook, though, so we cooled down.

Let me tell you, the food was so good. We ordered the Kimchi Budae stew and it was great. The menu says 2 portions, but it could definitely feed 3-4 people. Mom ordered the soft tofu soup, which was delicious. The banchan was plentiful and seasoned really well. Their kimchi was almost as good as mom’s. My brother and I are quite picky with Korean food, and we were highly impressed.

Despite the wait, we are for sure coming back to try some of the other dishes. 5-stars solely for the food.

Update: this place is STILL good. Looks like they’ve hired some more servers since our last visit. The kid we had was . Kudos to you all for bringing in some help. Food was hot, fresh and out very quickly this time.

Stone Bowl House had a great selection of authentic Korean food. The Bulgogi was flavorful and tender and came with a ton of sides. The Jap Chae was the surprising winner of the meal for me. The sweet potato noodles where sweet and had a chewy texture that I really enjoyed.

Our server was polite and took good care of us. The inside is a little dated but the dividers between booths make for a more intimate meal. Overall I really enjoyed this place.
