Amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious—the Sundubu Jigae (soft tofu stew) and Pork Bulgogi were packed with flavor. The side dishes (banchan) were also fresh and tasty. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. To top it all off, I even got a free ice cream for dessert! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Korean food

Amazing service! Very knowledgeable on allergy accommodations. Friendly and fun server. Delicious banchans. Food was out very fast. Everything we ordered was so good. We got the deokbokki platter, jap chae, and two kinds of dolsot bibimbop. The jap chae was everyone’s favorite, more garlicly than other places and addicting. They customized to the different spice level tolerances in our group. Would 100% come back to try more dishes.

This place should have 5 stars. I had the best broth ever here! Everything was fantastic. I think this is the best Korean restaurant that I have tried in Milwaukee and their tea was amazing.

The food was absolutely incredible. We split bibimbap, bokum noodles with beef, a lunch box and some shrimp tempura. Every bite was heaven. The service was nice. Would highly recommend.

Reviews are pretty mixed and so are mine- I didn’t have a problem with service but the food was over cooked- egg on a bowl should be runny not hard (see video) and the steak was well done and just kept cooking in the hot bowl. Made it hard to eat. I liked the odd ambiance though. Just a documentary playing on the tv was weird in a good way. I don’t know if this spot was worth another try. I wanted to love it.

Stone bowl has always been on my list especially after trying a few other Korean restaurants in town, Maru, Char’d and merge(which is now closed). When I walked in, the waiter was sitting down at a distance from me with a straight face, I said a table for two to break the silence. The restaurant was half empty. The interior was quite dark so I wanted to sit at the booth near the windows, but the waiter said they were saving the table for larger groups. Which was reasonable, but he looked as if I owed him money.

My friend arrived a few minutes later. Banchans were served, the flavors were quite standard, but one of the pickled vegetables tasted a little old. We ordered bibimbap with tofu and barbecue pork belly. The tofus on the bibimbap came as if they were cut straight from a box, shining, white with no seasoning. Maybe I shouldn’t have expected them to be pan fried or marinated in some way. I was slightly disappointed that the egg is fully cooked, because I usually preferred the yolk to be a little runny. Without the sauce the dish would be absolutely bland. I should give them credit that the stone bowl was heated properly and the rice was charred on the bottom.

When we were about to leave the restaurant, there were still a few empty booths…

Overall, the food wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great either. Given the overall experience, I would choose other options in town.

Haven’t been here in a while, and everything is still the same as I remember. The service was great. Our waiter was very nice, which makes the atmosphere, the experience, and most importantly, the food all better. I ordered the steak Bibimbop and the meat was very flavorful. I love how the rice and all the vegetables sizzle and gets crispy as you stir and mix everything together. The Korean jujubi hot tea was perfect and was a nice addition to my meal. Keep it up guys.

Probably the best and the most authentic Korean food in Milwaukee so far.
The Scallion Pancake with mixed seafood is worth a try!
Dukboki (the rice cake) there is one on of the best Dukboki even compared to what I had when I travel to South Korea.
Spicy Chicken: spicy and thick, the flavor was superb!
most of the dishes are suitable for sharing
the vibe the service were also amazing!
Highly recommend!

Rice in Bibimbop was burned and stuck to the bottom of the bowl.
For 8 bucks you’ll get 1/4 of a glass of wine.
Overall it’s a good place to try authentic Korean food.

Stone Bowl in Milwaukee is amazing. Visiting Milwaukee and not stopping here would be a crime! The service here is very good, they are quick to greet and sit you and give you the perfect amount of time to order. The food here I second to none, you can tell they take great pride in their dishes. I like how they don’t Americanize the dishes and they have a great amount of spice. I have added some pictures below of some great dishes. The only downfall is parking is kind of a pain, but that’s not really their fault.
