We just moved and needed some takeout that wasn’t fast food. Despite having to drive the food about fifteen minutes home before eating it, the fried foods were crisp and everything was seasoned so well! Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed that the tartar sauce was not included with my fish and chips; I’m pregnant and I know my food disappointment is heightened because of that, but who eats fish and chips without tartar sauce?? It turned what would have been great meal into something I had to tolerate. We also ordered two desserts and specifically requested no ice cream with those since we had to drive it home, but when we got home they were swimming in melted ice cream. This restaurant seems great but their takeout plating and quality control is severely lacking and it affected our meal in ways that could not be remedied at home.

We went at 4:30 on Friday first ones to be seated. Service was very slow. Forgot our bar drinks. Pizzas took over 20 minutes. Kids pizza came out lightly done, and ok. First adult pizza was burnt, crispy, and so dry that it snapped and crumbled like a cracker crust. We asked for a new one and were told that it is brick oven. I said look at the other two? They weren’t burned. Overall not a great experience. Too expensive to try again.

We ordered take out and it was absolutely perfect. We had 2 pizzas, tacos, and garlic steak sandwich which were all delicious. The worker who took the order, and met me at door was phenomenal. I believe his name is Nate. I would add that I will always do takeout, as the atmosphere felt chaotic to me, very busy and loud. But overall, some of the best food and service we have had in the area. We will be ordering again.

First time visiting. I ate on the patio. I ordered two appetizers, Meatballs and Porkskins. Both were delicious. My server, Melissa, was great and very attentive. I will definitely return.

One of the best steak and cheese sandwiches in Winston Salem. I didn’t have the queso on it, I opted for mozzarella. With the onions, peppers and well seasoned meat it was fantastic. The meatball sub was flavorful as well and the fries were cooked to perfection. Our server was friendly and attentive. There was plenty of parking and seating available. Would definitely return.

The staff were friendly and quick. The food was great and came out hot. The inside smells quite like smoke which makes sense because of the Woodfired pizza oven but there is outdoor seating if the smell bothers you.

Excellent pizza, top-notch service. Limited seating in winter but when the patio opens, it’s great. ❤ their patio in evenings.
You can choose from their menu of delicious crafted pizzas in 3 sizes or create your own combinations.
There are a few other options (burgers, wings, salads) if you like, but this is a wood-fired pizza joint.

We just happened upon this little spot. WE WILL BE BACK. The food! The service! The quality! If you love pizza even vegetarian, please go. It’s was FAB. Keep in mind, chafing is part of the wood-fired experience.

One of our pizzas was fine and the other one was not done well. One had two to three inches of plain crust and a tiny bit of toppings in the middle. I wish I had taken a picture. I don’t even know if it had all the toppings advertised because there was so little. The crust was too hard to eat in spots. We also ordered cheese bites. A lot of the cheese came out into the fryer. The one bright spot was the pork skins. Those were really good and we liked the Texas Pete ranch. Although they were supposed to be seasoned and I don’t know that they were. I think this place has a lot of potential. I’m hoping it was just an off day. The second pizza was really good.

A great neighborhood bar and grill, for several reasons. Namely great food, great beer and great service. Wings and pizza are their staples, both are awesome. But other menu items don’t disappoint – try their chicken caprese sandwich, and don’t sleep on the appetizer menu. Tiana always take great care of us when we’re there, and Jesse the manager is always quick to address any issues in a friendly manner. And their craft beer selection is superior! Lots of local NC choices. Winston-Salem needs more good local places like this.
