Had the stockyard…it was huge but so so good! Great first visit! Friendly and attentive service. I will definitely be back when in town. Wish I lived closer I would be a regular.

I’ve never been so disappointed in my life… I got a pork plate with baked beans and Mac n cheese. The only thing good was the Mac and cheese, but they only give you a table spoon serving size of sides. The beans were awful they leave such a nasty taste. Don’t get me started on the pork. Small portion the meat didn’t have an ounce of smokey flavor to it tasted as if was cooked in an oven. The price was 9.01 after taxes and I’d call that a rip off… never eating there again.

A friend brought the takeout over. Ribs were tender. The bone pulled off clean. Mildly seasoned and the sauce was pretty much middle of the road. Pulled pork and chicken didn’t have much flavor. Mac and cheese was mushy and bland. Cole slaw was salty. Beans were ok. I was expecting REAL BBQ. The meatloaf was uneventful.

Hot dang. It’s amazingly good. The rub they use on the ribs, they fall off the bone. The brisket literally melts in your hands. It’s like meat M&Ms. I was a little skeptical of the slaw, wasn’t very vinegary. But it really works great with everything. It’s by far the best in the area.

Everything they have is amazing, but their brisket is phenomenal. I am not a huge brisket fan, because it has to be done right, and that’s hard to do, but theirs is out of this world and it’s my favorite item on the menu! It just melts in your mouth!

However I love a good BBQ,and let me tell you this is the best BBQ I’ve ever had in the state of TN. I treat myself to the ribs every so often. Also the owner and his family work this business. They are Always very friendly. Great food!

Stockyard BBQ catered my son’s wedding reception, the food was great (some of the best potato salad I’ve ever ate) and the service was out of this world. They took care of everything from set up to service and them clean up. I highly recommend them.
