The food was great, the atmosphere was cozy and the service was wonderful! I got the sesame chicken bento box and everything was fresh and flavorful. A good variety of foods with great taste. The menu had so many good sounding items that I’ll definitely have to come back and try. It was a little expensive but I’d say the quality was worth it.

I visited for the first time on a Monday night based on recommendations from friends. We were seated right away, but that’s where the ‘good’ service ended. We sat for 12 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us, which was especially irritating because we watched a table seated after us get attended to immediately.

Eventually, a young woman came over and claimed our server was ‘busy’ and she was just helping out, but we never saw anyone else. She handled us the rest of the night, so I suspect she was actually our assigned server and they were just making excuses for the delay. After finally being approached and getting our drinks, the issues continued. I asked for lemon with my water and had to wait another 5 minutes for that to show up. To top it off, we weren’t given straws. When I finally asked for one, she didn’t bring it until the food arrived, admitting she had forgotten. Worst of all, we didn’t even have silverware or napkins for the meal.

It is incredibly frustrating to sit through an entire pre-meal with no straw and no lemon after waiting so long just to order, only to then have no napkins or utensils. As for the food, the pan-seared potstickers were actually really good and the best part of the night. However, the sushi was nothing special and didn’t live up to the hype. I might give it one more chance to see if service is better on a different night and update my review, but this first experience was very disappointing.

My favorite place to get sushi!! I went last night and forgot to do a review, not sure why I don’t go more often especially on half price sushi nights. Food is always excellent service can get slow at times when they are super busy but that’s to be expected

I saw this restaurant across the way from another restaurant i just tried out.

So, I tried it out the next time I came through.

I came on a Wednesday around 6 pm. to find it a busy place, so I hopped up to the bar. The first person met was Alexis behind the bar with her warm personality and smile. I also noticed how she would make everyone welcome not only taking care of the bar patrons but also helped with waiting on tables as well.
I ask the same questions when I go to a new restaurant. Do you have gluten-free options to see the reaction. To know if I can trust them or not. Through the years, I can tell if someone knows what I’m talking about or not.

Alexis happily but warmly assured me she has celiac and knows exactly what I’m talking about. This brought my guard down immediately and felt safe eating at this restaurant.

I ordered the Padi with tofu, nuts, gluten-free noodles, and sprouts. The sushi chef was making fresh rolls, so I got a veggie roll with avocado, steamed rice, and seaweed.

I loved the meal, and portions are large, so I always take half or more home.

The second time I stopped in, I got the other dish and loved it as well.

So, this is my new favorite place when traveling through. And Alexis is pretty cool, too.

Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely

Would I return? Absolutely and doing it now.
I rarely return to restaurants more than once, but this one I do

Thank you, Alexis, for help

The lady that I dealt with last night was one of the most sweetest people I have met in a long time. I was picking up an order to deliver and my phone went dead. My car charger wouldn’t charge my phone, so I took the food back in and explained. She grabbed my phone and stuck it on her charger and let me use their phone to call DD so I could unassign. My phone charged enough to finish what I needed, hung up with DD, and delivered my order in time. It’s rare that you find nice people in this world anymore, especially the restaurant industry. Again, she was sweet and supportive not jist saying this because she helped me, but she never quit smiling while dealing with me and waiting on customers. While I was pacing back and forth waiting for support to answer, I looked around and it’s one of the cleanest places I have been to. I didn’t see one person on a phone or not working, that’s very rare these days. Thank you again for being so patient and understanding with me!!!❤ Thank You!!!!

Food was excellent! The waitress was friendly and checked on us often. We stumbled upon this jewel while leaving the mall. We will definitely be revisiting. The vegetables were thinly sliced which was an excellent way to prepare them. One word..Delicious!

Staff is always friendly and the food is fantastic. My husband and I love the sushi, seems to be much more fresh than other places. We believe they have the best crab rangoon in town – not to crabby and slightly sweet, plus it comes out steamy hot. We do wish they had more beer on draft but they do have a good selection of liquor and specialty drinks.

Everything was super good. The California roll had more crab than other California rolls Ive tried. The chicken was perfectly portioned and crispy.

A very good Laotian restaurant in the middle of Knoxville with a variety of spice levels and simple but clean ambiance makes it family friendly restaurant. The patio is fun in the spring and summer with good weather. The food ingredients are good quality even if there is a little bit more oil in the food. The servers are very quick and friendly. You need to mention if you want your food spicy than the normal spice level.

The food portions are huge! The sushi is very good but they do not offer a variety plate or accommodate smaller portions, and it’s a shame because they offer so many sushi options. On the other hand the seating is too close together. I really enjoyed my Bento box though.
