Went there on wednesday about 845a. Sufficient free parking. There were local people eating there, so it had to be good… good amount of food for a fair price. The service was prime… girl was friendly and helpful. We got the local boy plate with fried rice. We got a table outside and the server brought our food to us. Despite sitting right beside the main road, Stillwell’s created a very nice outdoor seating area to enjoy both time with loved ones as well as the delicious food. In addition to mouthwatering pastries, they also make one great breakfast plate with the biggest hotcakes and best bacon I’ve had on island. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Instead of having the traditional big wedding cake for our wedding reception, we elected to coordinate with Matt and his team to create a dessert bar that featured three of their iconic pastry desserts. The combination of the tantalizing personal Lilikoi Cheesecakes, the decadence of the Fresh Fruit Tarts, and the legendary Chocolate Covered Cream Horns gave a fun and delicious experience for all who attended the wedding and reception. With excellence, Stillwell’s displayed why they are one of the premier bakery restaurants on Maui. Do yourself and your taste buds a favor and stop by the shop.

Coconut and Banana Cream Pies
I’m far from having a sweet tooth, but I’ve always loved banana cream pies. At a recent party, a whole pie was divvied up and I scored a slice. Oh my goodness. Why did their filling have to be so delectable and creamy? Why did the bananas have to be so fresh and flavorful? Is it to make up for their sucky service? Is this yin & yang? I’ll never know. The crust on the other hand, wasn’t the greatest in terms of texture and taste.
Cream Horn
Every time a box of these are brought to the office, one woman in particular squeals with joy. Her food mating call is warranted though, as these are really good. The airy, cloud-like puff pastry is filled with a perfectly-sweetened cream filling, dipped in chocolate and dusted with powdered sugar. But, don’t inhale through your mouth as you devour it as the powdered sugar will inconvenience your gluttony with a cough, LOL.
SERVICE:
A whole lot better with the new owners that took over years ago.

The building once housed Wailuku’s Kentucky Fried Chicken and Little Caesars.
OVERALL:

Stillwell’s is such a gem! I absolutely loved their breakfast, especially the breakfast beef corned hash, it’s packed with amazing flavor and cooked perfectly. You can really tell they put care into their food. I also love their apricot pecan butterballs cookies, it’s got the perfect crunch, just the right amount of sweetness, and such a beautiful, buttery flavor. This is the third time visiting here. Everything feels homemade. Will be back again for sure

First time having brunch here after living in Maui 20 years!!! I never knew about this place and I’m huge pastry lovers ( I usually drive all way to Kula Bistro and now I can say from my own experience this bakery is actually better and prices are much more responsible!!) I could buy much more!! Really enjoyed almost every item…check out photos..we shared huge Greek Salad ( had to take home it was so generous!!) Excellent customer service. Also. Highly highly recommend. I’m sure they get busy since not many tables to sit so may want to order take out!!
