Such a chill vibe here at Sticky Rice on 3rd. Easy to walk to from the Grove which was super convenient. The staff is friendly, the vibes are cool, and the food was delicious. They have Thai movie posters all along the walls and the lighting just sets a relaxed atmosphere. It was pretty empty on a random weekday for dinner but I assume they get busy on weekends. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have Khao Soi on the menu. I can never find that near me! If you have not tried it before, Khao Soi is a Northern Thai curry broth poured over egg noodles. It is usually topped with shallots, chili oil, and more. A very rich and layered dish that makes all the flavors come to life. Their Pad Kee Mao, also known as Drunken Noodles, is spectacular. Nice level of spice and noodles were cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

Now for my standard comments. The location is clean and well kept. Comfortable indoor seating but not too many tables available.

A perfect place to unwind after a long, busy day. The beaming staff instantly make you feel welcome, while the colorful décor, and tasty food elevate the entire experience. We ordered the Panang curry and Thai fried rice with chicken – the savory sauce in the fried rice was uniquely delicious, and unlike anything we’ve had before. Portions are generous and satisfying. Clearly a popular spot, judging by the steady buzz and number of guests. Definitely worth a visit.

Ordered the Sticky Rice Wings and they definitely lived up to the hype. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying juicy inside, and the glaze had a great balance of sweet, savory, and just a little heat. The fried herbs and peppers added an extra layer of aroma that made each bite even better.

Portion size was generous and ideal for sharing, but honestly, you might not want to. If you enjoy bold flavors and well-executed fried chicken, this dish is absolutely worth trying.

I came here alone and sat at the bar. I’ve been twice before and I’m such a fan of this cozy spot. Sitting at the bar was really nice, I watched a movie playing from their old TV while I ate. The waiter, PK, is so friendly and sweet 🙂
I ordered the pad thai with tofu which was delicious. In the past I’ve gotten the tom yum noodle soup which is also amazing. The Thai iced tea with boba was also delicious the boba was perfectly chewy and soft.

Authentic Thai Restaurant with Delicious Food!
We had the Pad Krapow, Pad See Ew, and Papaya Salad — all of them were incredibly tasty and full of authentic Thai flavors! The place has a very cozy and relaxed atmosphere that truly mirrors the simple, food-focused charm of restaurants in Thailand. The service was kind, quick, and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

This is my partner and I’s favorite Thai place. Actually probably our favorite dinner date place period. We get the wings every single time because they are so. Dang. Good. We both get the pad woon sen, we’re also health nuts and this all sits so well! And this location on 3rd street is especially a vibey spot. The staff is always so friendly and attentive.

Colorful, cozy spot with big flavors tonight ️
The sticky rice wings were perfectly crunchy outside and juicy inside, tossed with chilies and basil for a sweet-spicy kick. The shrimp pad thai was fresh and bright with lime, peanuts, and crisp veggies — great balance and texture. Portions were generous, presentation was vibrant, and the candlelit vibe made it even better. Would definitely come back for drinks and shared plates.

Cozy spot that does the job.

None of the flavors or dishes felt super memorable, but the vibe inside the restaurant makes up for that. The Crying Tiger was pricey and underwhelming while the Crispy Banana Samosas were a deliciously unique dessert.

Overall I would not go out of my way to come here; finding parking on a Saturday night was pretty rough.
