I am allergic to shrimp and although my family ate a shrimp roll I had zero problems, they took my allergies into account. ❤️
Also, the waiter was so nice and really helpful with his advice and explanations.
I recommend !
I came here with my Wife on our wedding day for dinner.
We were greeted with a beautiful welcome card, and ordered our drinks.
The cocktails? Oh lord I can’t describe how amazing they were. I had the berry sour whisky cocktail and I can only recommend it.
We shared the “set for success” together, it doesn’t all come at once, but in levels and I haven’t had Sushi this good ever. And for dessert we still had enough space for a Creme brulee, which we shared by the swings. Dessert was also, top tier.
5 stars doesn’t cover it, the service was extremely accommodating and everyone was super polite.
It’s on the pricey side but definitely worth every single penny, or Krone in this case.
Next time we are in Copenhagen we will definitely come back here. We did book our reservation in advance. All in all for 180€ I couldn’t have imagined a better place to eat.
We unanimously agree that the food were generally good. The first served fish option was very good as it melted In our mouths..
Similarly, the crab balls were great but I didn’t look like the mushroom balls and the roasted broccoli. All sushi tasted great. The mocktails can be better. There’s a terrace outside where you can sit if outdoors is preferred to indoors dining. The sticks were great but we didn’t enjoy the deep taste if he barbecue sauce used for one of them in particular.
Overall, its a lovely restaurant I recommend you experience for yourself!
On 280925, the hostess at Sticks’n’Sushi Tivoli Hotel – a beautiful young lady with red hair – did not want to receive us at all, although we were a family of 3, staying at the Tivoli Hotel and participating in the Anemia Medical Congress, although we tried 2 times to enter and there were many free tables. The intervention of the hotel reception was necessary for her to finally accept our reservation. Very, very rude to discriminate (for reasons only known to that person) or to invoke that you do not have tables available, then that you do not have enough staff, then that we probably won’t feel good in that restaurant (?!) and we’ll have a terrible evening (!?),
Should I also mention that all three of us are Caucasian, from a EU country, well dressed and polite, my daughter and I are blonde, only my wife, who is a medical doctor and head of a hospital, has brown hair?
Eventualy, we had a wonderful evening in that restaurant, aside from that rude incident that shocked us and made us wait about 20 minutes.
The location is stunning, with beautiful views, perfect lighting, and well-balanced acoustics.
Service was excellent. Alex and Marly took great care of me, offering thoughtful recommendations and detailed explanations of the menu.
The food quality was outstanding. I’ve had sushi at high-end restaurants around the world (Tokyo, Kobe, New York, LA, Las Vegas, Dubai, Singapore, and Sydney, just to name a few) and Sticks’n’Sushi truly holds its own. The presentation, balance of flavor, and freshness were superb. The sashimi was also super fresh.
The cocktail selection deserves a special mention. One of my all-time favorites comes from here: the Apuru Jin Sour. I highly recommend asking for the “less sweet” version, it strikes the perfect balance between gin and sake, with a hint of rhubarb for tartness and apple for a touch of natural sweetness.
Highly recommended whether you’re a long-time fan or visiting for the first time.
