We were utterly oblivious to the fact that we had stumbled upon a veritable culinary sanctuary in the heart of Soho. Without a shadow of a doubt, Sticks’n’Sushi has established itself as the paramount sushi destination we have encountered in London to date, surpassing all our previous experiences.

True to our heritage, we arrived with characteristic Swiss precision, clocking in exactly for our reservation. Faced with an enticing yet daunting menu, we placed our trust in the exemplary staff. Their proactive guidance was invaluable, steering us confidently towards the aptly named ‘Set for Success’—a wager that paid off handsomely.

To call it an ‘excellent choice’ would be an understatement; it was a gastronomic triumph. The visual presentation was nothing short of artistry—just glance at the photos to see the vibrant colours and textures—but the flavours were even more spectacular. The portion sizes were lavish, providing a feast that was more than ample for us as a couple.

However, there is one caveat to this otherwise flawless experience: the auditory environment. The venue is undeniably boisterous, with pulsating beats and the escalating roar of overlapping conversations creating a rather cacophonous atmosphere. It is hardly the acoustic setting for whispered sweet nothings or an intimate courtship.

Yet, for the sheer quality of the cuisine? We would endure the noise again in a heartbeat. Absolutely worth it!

Delicious sushi en skewers (sticks)

Not only the ‘standard’ rolls like salmon, tuna and shrimp but also one with wagyu and black cod. Perfect … I have never had western sushi this good. Also the sticks (I ordered the Gyu Katzu, Momo Namnan, Iberico Secreto and Aka Ebi) were so tasteful. It was located in the middle of SoHo, the service was very good and the atmosphere too. It was not the cheapest sushi but cheap sushi is – most of the time – not the best. I say this is worth the money.

I will be back when visiting London.

One of my favourite restaurants for sushi in London. The Hiramasa kataifi is a 10/10 and I also love the tuna tartare bites. We shared everything in a group of 4 and the food was more than enough. I have been to this place a few times and everytime feels like a whole new experience!!

Great experience at Sticks’n’Sushi Soho!
We didn’t have a reservation, but the staff still managed to find us a table for 1 hour and 15 minutes, which we really appreciated. The restaurant was completely full on a Saturday evening, yet everything felt well organized. Our waiter was friendly , and the sushi was delicious. Definitely an interesting place worth visiting.

Sushi chain all throughout London with various locations around the city. Each has its own unique ambience but all keep the food to its absolute best. Every time I come it’s for dinner and I leave so happy and full of sushi! Very easy to make a reservation in advance or day of!

Random search on google brought me here and I loved every bit of my time here. From the food, to the service. everything was super. And the wait for food wasn’t long at all. Definitely going back anytime i’m in London.

Our experience in this restaurant was amazing. My boyfriend has coeliac disease, he cannot eat gluten. And the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had a beautiful experience, even rearranging some ingredients in order to make it 100% gluten free. They have a separate menu, and they said in advance that cross contamination might be possible; but we had no problem with that. The food was excellent, and so was the service. 100% would recommend

If you’re up for a refined, enjoyable meal in central London with a mix of excellent sushi and grilled sticks, Sticks’n’Sushi in Soho is a strong choice. Great for a night out, a date, or celebrating something. Just expect to spend a bit more than your average sushi spot, and consider booking or arriving earlier for the best experience.

Busy Monday evening. Food was very tasty and came quickly. Unfortunately, the Service was appalling! Our server took our order and we never saw him again.

We felt ‘invisible’, as no one came to ask us if we wanted to order anything else or even the bill, for at least thirty minutes after we finished eating.
Not a great experience.
