Really cool hole in the wall to watch the planes take off. Food was really good. We had burgers and the French dip, three sweet potato fries and Brussels were amazing. Only down side was IT WAS SO HARD TO FIND it has no signage out front so it’s a guessing game finding it. Will be back

I went to stick and rudder about three weeks ago and I had a very good Reuben sandwich and I paid my bill. It was not cheap. If you wanna go there for lunch plan on spending at least $60 for two that’s lunch guys and all of it is is barbecue anyway I just wanted to tell Mr. Dunn that his Chef is out of line. I had already eaten lunch there and paid my bill and left as I left. I remember someone telling me about the prime rib. It’s pretty good so I stopped and pulled back out next to the restaurant then went inside and asked this waiter when they usually run out because they’re out when they’re out that’s what I understand so him and I were talking and a big guy in a Chef jacket comes in and tells me I can’t park there and I said hey bud I am just trying to find out about the front prime rib tomorrow night. I’ll be leaving right now. He says you move your bike right now I showed up with another friend of mine who happens to be a chef in destiny not throwing any names around, but he has another certified executive chef like and the big brown guy where you aremyself. I’ve ran many businesses. My last business was $$40 million. But I brought this other Chef and to see what he thought and the big round guy he told me that I could not come in because I yelled at him which I never did. I just told him that I parked there because I’m handicap and I was only asking about the prime rib, special and I’d like to say, sir that I parked in the proper spot when I had mine lunch and paid it over about $25 which is very expensive for where you are and what you do, but I do understand Mr. Dunn suggest you take a good look at your Chef right there and watch the amount of work that he actually puts out his jacket clean That’s because he doesn’t do anything except for tell handicap people where they can’t park overall not a terrible place. I will not ever recommend it to anyone and I’m sure my friend won’t either and we are networked with many many chefs and trust me that was a mistake and I hope it was a Chef mistake Mr. Dunn thank you for your time and I would like to speak with you anytime you would like and actually let you know a little bit more about the situation. I did not deserve to be discriminated against because I’m disabled and he actually the chef made fun of that so I don’t know my next step could be, but I would like to clear things up with you and I won’t come in, but I won’t tell anybody what I think about y’all either.

This place is truly a gem. Amazing food, wonderfully talented staff, and a unique atmosphere where you can watch civilian and military aircraft come and go while you eat! I also have to stress that they have THE BEST prime rib in Okaloosa county. They also converted a lifetime hater of brussel sprouts !

I had the Chipotle Avocado Breakfast Sandwich. It was very good the Fried Potatoes it was served with were some of the best I’ve ever had. They were fried crispy and seasoned well. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try there lunch.
Edit: I finally tried Dinner I Got the Philly, French Dip both with Fries and a side of the Brussel Sprouts. The Brussel Sprouts were the best I’ve ever had from a restaurant. I will definitely be back.

Food was good…except for forgetting kraut on the rueben. Portions were good size. Small area. Loved watching planes take off and land. Would go back. Only bad part was friend had to ask for tables to be wiped off.

This place is amazing, the food never disappoints. The atmosphere and the people that work there are fantastic. Anyone who says otherwise is just salty that they don’t get it. My husband and I are there usually once a week, if I am not satisfied with my meal it’s because of my choice, not the food being bad.

Restaurant with atmosphere like no other you get to see planes takeoff, and land and the crew come in for a bite to eat. support’s military aviators and on top of that has a top notch chef and staff everything on the menu is phenomenal.

Been eating here since they opened! The best food and service. You wouldn’t expect such great food at a small airport and you have to be looking for this place to find it. I send everyone i know here when they are working in or visiting Crestview. I’ve never heard anyone complain and everyone raves about it

We use to love flying there and getting food! Their food is really good! They have a deal if you buy gas there they’ll give you a token for food. The lead chef Matt Wilcox started questioning how much gas we were getting and made us feel bad about using the tokens for food. Sometimes we would just get fuel and keep the tokens for a later date. I gave some tokens to our maintenance crew that keeps our helicopters running for him and his wife. They told him they don’t take those colored tokens anymore. I mean they were earned. Well our crew no longer goes there anymore and if you’re going to treat people like that then you shouldn’t even offer that program. We found that Geneva Municipal is much more friendlier and has great food!

Atmosphere is low key pub food & planes, as expected. The food is beyond what youd expect, surprise yourself & stop in for a bite.
Please note, Service members on duty and pilots stopping for fuel & a bite should get first in line, we are lucky they open this to the public because its definitely a pilots hidden gem.
