Steve’s Ranch offers a cozy, comfortable atmosphere with a familiar, home-style feel. I visited for the Sunday brunch buffet, which is fairly small with limited selections, priced at $16.99. Options included fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, hash browns, biscuits with sage gravy, mac & cheese, baked chicken, and a salad bar.
The service was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was not crowded, which made for a relaxed dining experience. While the buffet had a nice variety of comfort foods, some items were a bit dry when I arrived around 11:15 a.m. Turning over the food more frequently could help keep everything fresher.
Overall, Steve’s Ranch is a pleasant spot for a low-key brunch with attentive service. With some refreshing updates and more frequent buffet rotation, it could be even better.

Delicious food, I can’t wait for fridays. They also have the best liver and onions served with real potatoes. Staff was very nice. The owner even made sure all her customers was taken care of, greeting each table. She is Amazing!

Ordered a rare steak and got a rare steak which doesn’t happen very often when I go out to eat so I was happy about that, met the owner and she was a very very kind woman asked how we were and had great conversation with my girlfriend and I… Kind of pricey but Overall great place to eat. I’ll definitely be a returning customer. Our waitress was awesome too!

Great food. Reasonable price. The building is outdated but it’s kind of part of the vibe.

Dropped in for a late lunch on a Wednesday at Steve’s Ranch Family Restaurant in Jackson, and it was exactly what I needed after a long drive. No wait to be seated, and the vibe is super laid-back—nothing fancy, just a classic, clean spot where locals clearly feel at home.
My server was friendly and quick to take my drink order while I looked over the menu. I went with the hot turkey, and honestly, it hit the spot. The turkey was tender and juicy like it had been slow-roasted, and the gravy was rich and poured on generously—just how I like it. It tasted like something your grandma would make, in the best way.
Food came out fast (maybe 10 minutes), and everything felt freshly made. I didn’t try any sides or desserts this time, but I’ll definitely be swinging back through if I’m in Jackson again. Feels like the kind of place that doesn’t try to be trendy—it just does what it does well.

Wonderful experience! The food was great! They have a really nice little salad bar. Save room for dessert. The cakes are homemade, definitely made with love. The staff was amazing especially the owner!

We had dinner here. The owner was amazing, the food was good. Location…… This place was the place to go for a long time you can tell. But things are aging and it’s hard to find people that have a passion for food service anymore. The owner was the best!

We loved it there! We haven’t been there since my wife and I were kids. Bothe hadn’t been there since we were kids. Our waitress was so accommodating and so nice and friendly, and the food was delicious. Thank you for making our visit so nice

One of Jackson’s best breakfast spots. Omelettes, steak and eggs, pancakes, French toast, and any variation on eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes and toast you can think of. Coffee constantly topped off by the friendly and attentive veteran staff. Generous portion sizes, cozy western-themed ambiance (try sitting by the fireplace), and reasonable prices. Frequented by an older crowd and business professionals, along with a number of community groups and service clubs who hold their weekly or monthly meetings in the community room. A Jackson institution since the early 1980’s.

We went for the all.you can eat Prime rib, roast beef, & ham. I had a helping of each and I won’t go back. It was tough to get through honestly. I chewed and chewed till my haw hurt on that Prime rib the au ju tasted exactlylike water… brown water it was horrible.
The roast beef was decent and the ham was good but I went for prim rib. I literally got 2 slice of prime, 1 slice of roast beef and 1 very small piece of ham.. oh and 1 cup of soup all the money I spent over $80 and I went home and ate mini tacos.
