This place is really good I went for dinner before. You definitely have to get the tostadas. And the music here is awesome.

Stereo41 has officially become one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area. The fusion of Egyptian and Japanese flavors is honestly incredible and so unique and delicious. It’s such a rare combination, but they do it so well that every dish feels both familiar and completely new. You can taste the authenticity of both cuisines, and the creativity behind each plate really stands out. It’s the kind of food that makes you pause because the flavors are just that memorable.

I also love the family-style concept. It makes the whole experience feel warm and communal. I’ve gone for date night, with my family, and with friends, and it’s been amazing every single time. It’s one of those places that works perfectly for any kind of outing.

The zero-proof drinks deserve their own shout-out. They’re delicious, thoughtful, and honestly some of the best non-alcoholic drinks I’ve ever tried. I’ve tasted them all and still can’t choose a favorite tbh!

The vibe at Stereo41 is also such a big part of why I love it. It’s a literal vibe on its own with the art and music and decor without being overwhelming. The love DJ adds such a fun atmosphere, and the disco ball gives the whole place this playful, stylish feel that makes the night even better.

If you’re looking for incredible food, unique flavors, and a great atmosphere, you have to try Stereo41. I’m already excited to go back. There isn’t a place in the bay like this!

A must-visit gem in Walnut Creek!
Stereo 41 is a fabulous new spot blending Middle Eastern cuisine with Japanese vibes. I visited for lunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and the experience was sensational.
Since it was our first time, we followed our server’s excellent advice to share several plates. We started with the Verjus Spritz and Sour Candy mocktails—both were refreshing and bursting with flavor.
The Food Highlights:
-Hamachi Tostada: The absolute star of the meal! The table went silent because we were too busy enjoying every bite. I’ll be ordering this every single time.
-Halloumi Kebabs: Grilled with fig and honey, these far exceeded my expectations. An amazing sweet and savory combination!
-Slow-Cooked Beef Bowl: The beef was tender and perfectly seasoned, beautifully complemented by the chickpeas, turmeric rice, whipped feta (Yum!) and cucumber salad.
-Chocolate Halva Cake: Think Ferrero Rocher in cake form. Absolute heaven!
The staff’s attention to detail was impressive. Our waitress noticed that I gave my friend flowers and a gift. She quietly asked who and what was the special occasion before we were seated. At the end of the meal, she surprised us with a candle and a chocolate birthday sign on our dessert. That kind of thoughtful service is rare. I’ll definitely be back!

The restaurant tries to be fancy using a fusion of Japanese and middle eastern ingredients. Standard falafel with Nori, yet i couldn’t taste or smell the nori and they managed to sell it for $16 for 5 pieces. The appetizer platter was typical hummus, muhamara which was not exactly that. And tasty cheese dip. The fresh vegetables were radishes, carrots, zucchini . The dishes were average of $40+ and given the quality and portions it was over priced. The sides were limited.

I’m genuinely excited that we finally have more fun dining options in the area, and Stereo41 is easily the most elevated food and overall dining experience around.

We went for dinner on a special Arabic music night, and the energy in the room was great the entire time. The music was fun, and people were dancing throughout the night, which made the atmosphere feel lively while still comfortable for dining.

We ordered a few dishes to share. The beet salad was fresh and well balanced, the lamb was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the whipped feta was a great way to start. Everything came out at a good pace.

For drinks, the basil pop was refreshing and not too sweet, and the espresso martini was smooth and well made.

Service was attentive and relaxed, and everything flowed smoothly from start to finish. Overall, it was a really enjoyable night with great food, good drinks, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

Wow. What an incredible and memorable experience! From the owners, to the staff to the food and ambience, everything was so well curated. Everyone was so attentive and knowledgeable. Live music while dining is such a nice touch. Every dish was so well thought out and I could feel the culture behind the dishes in each bite. Highly recommend when in Walnut Creek.

Studio45 delivered a relaxed and satisfying dining experience with mellow jazz vibes that set a warm and unhurried tone. The beet carpaccio was fresh and light, offering a bright start to the meal. The lamb kefta was tender and flavorful, with spices that added depth without overpowering. The haloumi was perfectly grilled and pleasantly salty, while the rice provided a simple and comforting balance. The matcha cake was soft, mildly sweet, and a calming finish. The smooth jazz playing in the background tied everything together, creating a live atmosphere that made the meal feel even more enjoyable and easy to settle into.

So many first bites I will never, ever forget: beet carpaccio, mussels, tostadas, lamb and halloumi skewers, chicken, sangari fish, the steak!!!!!! The flavor profile of the menu is uniquely vibrant, a modern middle eastern feast that doesn’t make you feel too heavy. The music was cool and the perfect backdrop for this dining experience, I definitely shazamed a few tracks. All in all I’m for sure coming back, excited to try lunch and brunch, keeping an eye on upcoming djs and telling all my friends. Walnut Creek definitely hit a win with this new addition to what the town has to offer.

We decided to try the new upscale spot, Stereo41, in downtown Walnut Creek for lunch this Sunday and overall, we were impressed by the food and ambiance! The cuisine is interesting fusion of Mediterranean and Japanese. The restaurant has a beautiful, upscale ambiance, and we were seated immediately, which was a huge plus for a Sunday lunch.

The Food (A definite 5/5!)
The kitchen here is truly doing amazing work.
* Appetizer: Stereo Mezze Platter – Fantastic! This came with two baskets of pita and three main dips, plus a great combination of pickled and fresh veggies/olives. We were all hungry, and this dish delivered. Highly recommend starting here!
* Mains: We ordered the Lamb Kofta Bowl and the Slow Cooked Beef. Both were served over amazing rice with Japanese cucumber and fresh leaves.
* The Lamb Kofta was incredibly tasty and sumptuous.
* The Slow Cooked Beef was very tender and flavorful.

Areas for Improvement (Service & Menu)
While the food was perfect, I do feel they could elevate the customer experience with a few tweaks:
1. Customer Service: The staff was unfortunately not very friendly. A slightly warmer welcome and friendlier service would significantly improve the overall dining experience.
2. Menu Variety: We would definitely recommend this place for adults. However, they might need to add a few more dishes to their menu to better cater to families with kiddos.

The Verdict: If Stereo41 can get a tad bit friendlier and add a couple of family-friendly options, this place is absolutely a five-star gem. Go for the delicious Mediterranean food and beautiful setting!

To me, didn’t feel a super friendly place… atmosphere almost like uptight … the happy hour drinks good but very conservative portion… maybe this is the new trend? maybe I am older and getting picky with energy and vibes and stretching my dollars

my friend and I left to Elia…I was craving the friendly heart felt welcoming….the ambience all the difference in the world. Warm, welcoming and all at Elias
