One of the best little Mom and pop’s diner I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot.sl Service was amazing I didn’t even need to ask for anything the Waitress was right on top of it. Waitress was one of the best I’ve seen in a long time topped my coffee at half cup on the spot asked if needed anything at exactly the right time. Food was delicious I’ll be coming back, highly recommend

Very friendly staff with great variety on the menu. My husband got the scallop dinner and I had steak & eggs. We shared a bowl of clam chowder and it stole the show! It was thick, creamy, and full of clams!!

Great spot for all 3 meals of the day. Perfect place to stop off at before or after fishing the river, or anytime… I slipped out of my waders and felt welcomed as I was. Tons of parking.

We visited this place one morning to have quick breakfast. We were warmly welcomed and got hot coffee poured right away! We had breakfast menu, pancakes for kid and again a lot of coffee! Food was amazing!
We came back next day to have lunch and we were happy again. Honestly, food was so good we don’t remember any other place like that for 2 years traveling Upstate!

Met with family from out of town. We had eggs, pancakes, hash, sausage, French toast all was very good. The owner was on site, she cooks and waits tables. They were more than happy to let us sit for a while after we ate so we could visit and even took family pictures for us. I highly recommend this place.

We waited almost an hour for our food. in that time our waitress did not give us refills and wasn’t friendly, she didn’t even check on us our entire visit. A younger blonde woman who looked very busy actually handled our refills and our bill after seeing our waitress pass over us multiple times. She was awesome! Once the food arrived a lot was wrong. My grilled cheese had a brown spot on that im assuming was chocolate. I also found two hairs on my sandwich and my brother found a hair in his tuna sandwich as well. My dad ordered hash browns but was given home fries. My husband’s hash browns were so undercooked that some of them were ice cold! We were also all frustrated that we didn’t have a single refill until the end of our meal. I will say that the gentleman bussing tables was also very courteous and the bathroom was nice. Overall it was a pricey bill for 4 meals and we were sat down for a total of almost two hours.

The food is earthy and good. The potatoes Hash Browns are crisp and delicious. The Beacon is also crisp and tasty.
The service is diligent and pleasant.
The place open very early for rising sun fishermen.
Highly recommended.
