I recently visited Kitano Japanese Cuisine with my husband, as we were in the mood for sushi. Having already dined at Hana three times, we were excited to try something new. Upon entering, we were greeted by a cozy and charming atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, which added to our positive experience.
Today, the restaurant was offering a 15% discount, and the delicious food attracted quite a crowd. Trust me, once you try the sushi here, you’ll understand why I believe Kitano will be my go-to sushi spot in Sarnia from now on. The unique sauce they use is incredibly flavorful and enhances every bite.
As a delightful surprise, they treated us to some cheese balls that had wonderfully stretchy cheese—absolutely addictive! To top it all off, when we were leaving, they gifted us cute Korean-style pens, which was such a sweet touch. I truly felt appreciated as a customer.
Overall, I loved my experience at Kitano and can’t wait to return!

Best sushi in town hands down, especially the eel. I’ve never had eel that melts quite like it does here. Really though, you can’t go wrong with any of the items on the menu. Because of that, this is a place I always come back to, and recommend others do the same.

Great experience at Kitano! The service was super friendly and the food was fresh and really tasty. They even surprised me with a complimentary cheesecake ball, which was such a nice touch. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I went for the first time to Kitano – it was an amazing experience! We had the spicy trio roll and deep fried yam roll, nigiri tuna and salmon, deep fried tofu and edamame. I wish we had taken pictures but just got so excited and dove right in. So much food and so delicious!! Really fresh. And service wonderful, so well treated by the chef and complimentary deep fried cheese balls. There are too many all you can eat sushi places where the quality is so terrible. Kitano thankfully is not one of these, you can tell they really care about what they do and the food they put out. What a treasure to have found this place. We will back for sure!!!

Kitanos is nothing short of perfect. I ordered 8 rolls to sample and ended up going back thee next day for another sushi order. I appreciate the authenticity just as much as the sushi! Definitely recommend and is worth the travel from the states. Will be back!
