Ken the manager introduced himself and immediately sat us, he was very attentive and took very good care of us. The food was outstanding! Lasagna was perfect and enough for two meals. My wife had veal and eggplant parm that she said was the best she has had. Our guests also loved their meals. Fresh authentic Italian! We will be back the next time we visit Fishkill.

I’ll admit, I was a bit upset when I first got to Stephanos. I made a reservation 6 weeks prior to Valentine’s Day, and there was a mix-up about the time.
Nevertheless, they got us seated despite this issue. We were recommended a few dishes, among them their specialty short ribs. Holy crap, this food was excellent. I had heard about how great their food is, and those recommendations did not disappoint.
The bread was phenomenal. The wine pours were bountiful. The entrees were absolutely spectacular. My girlfriend and I cannot wait to go back. Awesome service, and awesome food. Thank you, Stephanos!

Had an incredible meal at Stephano’s in Fishkill, NY—definitely a local gem worth checking out!
We kicked things off with the Hot Antipasto for Two—clams, mussels, stuffed mushrooms, eggplant rollatini…the perfect start. For dinner, I went with the shrimp scampi and also tried the spaghetti & meatballs. Everything was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and the portions were more than generous.
The best part? The prices were just as impressive as the food.
And yes—that last picture is what I brought home. Couldn’t leave without taking the deliciousness with me!

Visiting the area for work, stopped here to eat after shift. It was amazing! Homemade dinner rolls, drinks were awesome and the main dish was great. Large portions so be prepared to take some home! And the dessert was great to finish an amazing experience. Would definitely eat here again if I’m in the area.

The food and wine are excellent and abundant at very reasonable prices. What knocks off some serious stars is the atmosphere. This is not the kind of place to go if you want to have a nice quiet dinner with someone. This is the site of the old Friendly’s on Main Street in Fishkill and the atmosphere is, sadly, about the same. Very loud and very plain. There are no booths, only tables with wood floors that amplify the noise even worse. The decor inside is nothing special. If they spiffed up this place this would be a solid 5 star.
No one at my table was too adventurous with their ordering, Chicken Francese and Eggplant Parmesan. Both dishes were excellent. All entrees come with pasta and a salad. The wine was $8/glass as of 4/14/23 for about 9 oz of wine. You can also order a bottle for the table picking from a much more abundant selection of options. The bread served beforehand was good though nothing special or unique but certainly decent. Their house dressing is delicious. The pasta and sauce is excellent. They truly know how to cook pasta al dente.
Dessert was also very good.
Service was a little on the slow side although they were very busy. Personally I’d rather have service that is a little slow than feeling rushed. My big problem with this restaurant is the atmosphere. This truly could be a fine dining experience with a serious makeover that also addressed the noise level.

Came here for the first time for a reunion with former coworkers for lunch. First I have to say our waiter and I am sorry I forgot his name was amazing, so professional and polite. Second the food portion was huge it felt like I was given 2 lbs of pasta! And third the wine was such an amazing pour. And last but not least the prices are very reasonable.

Never disappoints. I always leave full and happy. It is a lovely place that is very comfortable and feeds you well. Don’t be surprised if you have dinner for another night or two. Service is always great, food is always good and the drinks are always full. Not sure what more you could want.

The staff aren’t very professional, and the host was very short and rude. The food is good, and the portions are huge, come hungry. Prices are fair and inline for the amount of food you get Its’s loud in there and feels like you’re sitting in a cafeteria. Maybe just get takeout and not deal with the noisy dining area??
