First time eating here! The service was great! Friendly waitresses & the FOOD!! Wow! So good! If you are looking soul food? This is it!! I had the pork chops, Mac and cheese, greens and cornbread! My husband had fish, cabbage, beans and sweet potatoes! Not one complaint here!

I had the Chicken Quarter meal which was really good except the white rice (side) which tasted old and reheated.
The atmosphere is good, and I was intrigued to see Presidents Obama and Clinton’s pictures on their walls.
Our server was really nice and helpful.
Lastly, the banana pudding desert was really delicious and tasted fresh and homemade.
Overall, the restaurant and the food are good.

Y’all, all I’m saying is… this food is everything good! I had fried squash, fried pork chops, collards and cornbread. When the meal was done, I had a whole nother pork chops to take home. For that, I ordered a veggie plate with more fried squash and collards with cornbread, and added turnips and yams. This place holds memories of fellowship, Sunday dinner ant day of the week, and it’s all delicious. I even drank grape Kool-aid (topped with lemonade) for the first time in decades. The photos here are of the to go plates because I started eating as soon as I said grace.

I am so sad to write this review however it had to be said. I’m been going to Stephanie II Restaurant since I was a teenager and even had my wedding catered by this establishment. I ordered a veggie plate and the Mac and Cheese is absolutely HORRIBLE. There are large clumps of pepper and a thin layer of unmelted cheese on top. The food served at this establishment use to taste like love, I guess love don’t live here anymore.

Stephanie’s has been added to the list of places I must go when I’m in Greensboro. We went on Friday for lunch and EVERYTHING was delicious.
I was a little disappointed that they got rid of the baby shower meatballs…hopefully they’ll come back.
I ordered salmon cakes, cabbage, broccoli casserole & hush puppies. My friend had the fried wing platter with squash, rice and gravy, and okra.
The food was hot and seasoned to perfection. The wings were cooked to a perfect, crispy golden brown. The salmon patties has a little spicy kick to them & I love spicy.
Can’t wait to visit again!

First time and being be the last. The food was amazing to me. And prices were great for the of food. Our waitress very attentive. Small wait but she kept us informed and kept check until she could come by. Food came out fresh but quick. 7pm at night on Saturday night and many couples with their baby; just like us or several large family dinners felt like home. We had pork chop plate corn bread cabbage and yams for hubby and I had fried huge turkey wings yams and fried squash with cornbread. Superb! We most definitely will return . Well worth hour trip for our family!

My family and I of about 25 people went to eat here for the first time at this restaurant. This past weekend for my aunt’s birthday. I will say we were seated within 10 minutes. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing. There was plenty of room for the seating. As for our waiter, she was awesome, very patient, and speedy with her service. Please note that any party over 8, I believe it was, they include the gratuity to the bill. Okay, the food it was around $12 to $,15 for a meal, but you had a big quantity of food. Everything was delicious, hot, and fresh. I absolutely love the collar greens, but I had a problem with the macaroni and cheese. I did not like it at all. Please note that the building can use a lot of updating. But it’s like your hole in the wall with a hiding jewel restaurant. But as for me and my family, we would definitely be back to visit.

Came in for dinner this evening with a few friends, and our children. We had a party of six. This was my first time trying this establishment. I had the Chicken and Broccoli Casserole, with baked beans, and cabbage. The food was pretty good, I was more disappointed at the service we received. We were served our drinks, and not one time did our server come back to refill our drinks for the hour and half we sat at the table to eat. Other then that the atmosphere was pleasant.
