We had a great experience at this cozy little cafe. There isn’t a lot of seating, so keep that in mind, but the charm feels like home. We ordered the half/half meal. I got a salad and hearty potato soup. My partner got a half Stella sandwich and the Gouda soup. My potato soup was INCREDIBLE. So thick, creamy, and flavorful. Plenty of big potato chunks. Just kick’s Panera’s butt. The Gouda soup was also fantastic, a light tomato base and the Gouda cheese came through. Best soups, hands down! Though, the soup did not come with bread or crackers, which was a bit odd. The salad and sandwich were also good but pretty standard. We would say 5 stars but honestly we felt the prices were high for the portions – you definitely need to order a whole sandwich because the half sizes are really small, which would make your meal kinda pricy for a light lunch. That said, we will be back for the soup!

This quaint little spot hosts some rustic hardwood floors. Downtown charm
The food it’s self made me forget my name.
The taste buds almost exploded at the wonderful quality of my pretzel bun sandwich
Oh and if your wondering why the place is empty that’s because of the packed sidewalk seating

My sisters and I came to Saint Genevieve for a couple days to explore the S-Town. He stumbled upon Stella and meat Café. The best little café that I have never been to! The best sandwiches I have ever eaten and the desserts are to buy for!

Great place for some specialty sandwiches. Friendly staff. Small inside with a limited number of tables but cute and cozy. Sandwiches were delicious. Homemade pink dip with chips were very tasty. Will definitely be back to try other sandwiches.

Cozy place and the atmosphere was nice. The food was alright, the turkey club was good, but the roast beef paninis meat was a little rubbery and wet. The dips with the sandwiches were good but the chips and pretzel sides were pretty basic store brand. I liked the seating areas both inside and outside though. I would go back to try something else!

Adorable little cafe in historic downtown Ste Gen. A lot of local art on the walls and other niknaks. Very limited hours, I think only 11-2, so plan accordingly.
Owner is very nice and approachable. Food was good. I got the pretzel bun something and enjoyed it. Highly recommend if you are in town.

Our group of five enjoyed a late lunch at a sidewalk table. Our server was prompt with suggestions and service. We started our three day visit to SteG with Stella and ended in the same way. It’s a great cafe. Don’t ignore the pretzels and dill dip!
