My husband and I had a truly wonderful dining experience at Stella. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by kind hosts who instantly made us feel welcome and at home. Our waiter was fantastic. He was extremely attentive, and had wonderful recommendations on the menu and the wine as well. He was anticipating our needs before we asked and did a stellar job. Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner. The food was delicious and the wine was great. We sat in the patio era, and the ambiance was beautiful, with soft glowing lights and a modern/rustic feel. It was a truly great experience, and I am not exaggerating when I say this was the best customer service I have ever experienced at a restaurant.
I have celiac disease and what drew me here was the house-made gluten free pasta. It was delicious, and the waiter took special care and attention to ensure the food and appetizers and dessert that came back was safe for me to eat.

Well executed, seasoned perfectly. We were warmly welcomed and seated immediately.
We picked the chefs table- and sitting in front of the open wood fire grill on a cold night was pretty magical. Watching the chefs work was a treat. They’ve got a solid team back there, and you could taste the precision. The staff went above and beyond, totally seamless with service. Issac made my birthday feel genuinely special, and I appreciated the extra effort he put in.
Our first time here, and certainly not our last. Telling everyone, this is the place for some incredible food.

We recently celebrated my birthday here and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food was truly delicious-every single dish, from the appetizers to the main course. The service was amazing, our server and the entire staff were attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to make the evening feel special. We had such a wonderful time and definitely hope to be back soon!

If I could rate this 6 out of 5 I would. Across the board this was an incredible dining experience. We were lucky enough to sit at the chef’s counter and watch ours and the entire restaurants meals get prepared by some truly extraordinarily talented chef. My only regret about this meal was that I didn’t skip breakfast and lunch so I could eat more items from the menu. We ordered the scamorza impicccato and tagliatelle which were both so excellent. Only watch out to future guests is that the portions are large, so don’t be afraid to split items. I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone who’s in the Sonoma/Napa region going forward. This place as a must (and shoutout to our server John who made our anniversary / honeymoon that much more special)

We absolutely loved Stella. We went on our honeymoon, and our table had a sign waiting for us. The service was on point the entire evening, and our server was honest with recommendations and portion sizes. We sat at the chef’s bar and really enjoyed that experience. As far as food, we would highly recommend the meatballs and TCP Lumache (and of course the burrata).

Perfect dinner with my wife! We sat at the bar and Christian took great care of us. We loved the service and ambiance….. most importantly, the appetizers, entrees and dessert were delicious. We will definitely return.

This was our second time visiting Stella and our first time hosting an event there. We brought our employees for a Christmas party and had a fabulous experience. The customer service was excellent, the mozzarella cheese bar was a crowd favorite, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything from the atmosphere to the service made the evening feel special. We highly recommend Stella for both dining and events.

Stella is a beautiful space with an inviting atmosphere. The best seats in the house?Definitely the chef’s counter-an incredible spot to watch the magic happen. The food was spot on, perfectly executed, and full of flavor. And whatever you do, don’t forget to check out the dessert menu-totally worth it! A fantastic addition to Kenwood.

We had a fantastic dinner at Stella’s. Service is outstanding. Our waitress (René) was incredibly nice, fun, and wholesome. They’re so lucky to have her. Everyone else we talked to or interacted with was also super professional and helpful. This place is clearly very well managed. The buzz at the bar in front of the wood burning grill was incredible. Even though we’re in the heart of the Sonoma wine country, we loved the “urban” feel, almost like a parisian brasserie. We started out with a delicious cheese croquette that was incredibly light and fluffy, with great aromas of gruyere and soft butter. We also shared an octopus salad that was sublime. Then my wife had the pasta special: the pesto tagliatelle that was absolutely out of this world. My carbonara pasta dish was perhaps a little bland (I tend to be difficult when it comes to pasta), and upon discussing it with the staff, they actually offered to replace it which is very nice. All in all, we had an absolutely lovely evening. It’s so nice to have such an exquisite dining option so close to us in Glen Ellen !
