Been coming here for years always was good but today was a very unpleasant experience. I ordered a slice. The lady takes the cash then bear hands my pizza . When I asked her if she could put gloves on she acted like I was asking something that was unreasonable. If they’re willing to do this infront of a customer makes me wonder what they’ll do when no ones watching.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I had garlic bread with cheese and a pepperoni pizza. The garlic bread was nicely done, crispy toasted on the outside, soft, chewy and flavorful bread portion. The pizza was also quite good. My personal preference would have been for a crisper bottom but it was still nice and chewy upper. The sauce was very nice also. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.4.

Business sold recently and is under new ownership. Not sure why they were able to keep all of the positive reviews from the former owners. What was once a favorite would now be my last choice for Mansfield pizza.

I’ve been eating here for 20 years but not anymore. Since ownership change service and quality have diminished severely. Called for a pickup and it didn’t start out very well. *background noise and no introduction from employee*
Me: “…Hello?”
Stefanos “Hello”
Me: “….is this Stefanos..?”

Then proceeded fairly normally. 15 minute pickup time for a pizza and sandwich which is great, especially on a Friday evening. I get there and they gave my sandwich away but instead of telling me it was whispered about then one gentleman said “sorry again about that, it’s coming right out” …sorry about what? Nobody told ME what was going on in the first place. A couple of employees were cordial but most of them are not.
Now onto the food; I get home, excited to finally eat. The quality and quantity has dwindled significantly. Pizza dough has almost no flavor and was not proofed enough. It was heavy, dense, and hard to bite through. The sauce was scarce, topped with far too much cheese, and overall not cooked enough. The color was very light. The amount of toppings were subpar but CLOSE enough to a normal amount. The sandwich was skimpy in every aspect. Very minimal lettuce, a few pickles (far from the extra pickles that was asked for) and the tuna was just enough to say there was tuna in there.
I’ve gone there quite a few times since the ownership change and this most recent experience will definitely be my last, unfortunately. Overall I’ve grown very displeased with the service and quality in recent months.

They are kind of a cranky crew at Stefano’s Pizza. They’re fast, polite and they get your order right on the money 99.9% of the time. Just don’t expect a lot of laughs or smiles when you pick up your dinner.
That 99.9% figure is really what it’s all about anyway. For pizza, Stefano’s is one of the few shops making Italian style crusts in the are – a little stretchier & chewier than the prevalent crispy/squishy/oily Greek crusts. I love ’em both and keep this one in the rotation. Great sauce & cheese here.
For my crew, grinders are the most frequent things we order. Not only are the the biggest, weightiest, deliciousest subs in town they are probably the best priced.
And you may or may not have heard, but if you can’t get to Philly for a cheesesteak, Stefano’s Steak subs (ask for Provolone AND American cheese) may very well be the closest you’ll ever get.

My wife and I haven’t lived in mansfield for 3 years but we still go back to stefanos for pizza, subs, and wings a few times a year. This was our go to pizza place when we did live in mansfield. We always get their Chicken Bacon Ranch specialty pizza, a steak and cheese sub with peppers and onions, and an order of buffalo wings. The curly fries are pretty good as well. While there are many different pizza places I would recommend giving this place a try!
