Good food, great atmosphere, and even better service. We’ve been coming to Steeplejack ever since the first Burger Week they participated in and have enjoyed it ever since. The only criticism I have is their fries used to be these amazing shoestring fries that were so good. Now they are closer to steak fries and while still good, not the same. But that’s more of a personal preference. Don’t let that stop you from checking out this great brewpub in a very unique setting.

The building is an interesting remodel of an old church.
The space can be loud and echoes.
The seating is church pew inspired, hard and uncomfortable.
The food was pub food. Not very complicated or special. The portion sizes are small for the price.
I was surprised for the short poor, small volume, of the Imperial Stout. It was served in a wine cobbler. See photo.

What a fantastic setting! This former church turned restaurant, bar, and event space is an entire vibe. Bring your friends and some playing cards and enjoy the atmosphere. The food left a little to be desired (I.e., the wings had great flavor but breaded in such a way that really could have benefited from being fried instead of underbaked, the nachos were also flavorful but would have been better plated so that the toppings could be distributed versus in a bowl).

Such a cool place! The atmosphere here is top notch, I think it’s the high ceilings lol. The drinks and food here is great too! The portions are huge, and chicken sandwich was pretty tasty. Definitely recommend!

Steeplejack Broadway did a great job taking care of us for a large coed/family-friendly baby shower. They made great recommendations when it came to the menu and the space and all of our guests commented on how naturally beautiful the atmosphere was. The service team went above and beyond to help make sure we had everything we needed before, during, and after the event. The food came out beautiful and everything was delicious. We honestly couldn’t believe how much food we received and felt like it was a really great value. We highly recommend this place!

We booked the Fireside Room for Friday, January 30 before learning about the walk-out/protest that was happening nationwide. I was informed that day that they would still be open but minimally staffed. Expecting the worst, I was blown away by the service. The restaurant was very busy that night and we had a large group in our party but Kacey (Casey? KC?), our server, was attentive, efficient, and very welcoming. The food was great. The drinks awesome. The atmosphere perfect. And we couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you!

Rarely have I received service like I did today and not from just one person on staff but every person I interacted with. You take that service and pair it with fantastic beer and amazing food and you get Steeplejack Brewing. The burger was fantastic with melted cheese running down the side and the fries were perfectly seasoned. They are happy to help you choose the exact beer that fits your flavor profile and when you do it doesn’t disappoint. Also, I love the interior vibes. Being in a “church” with music and being able to see their beer production process was so unique. My favorite brewery so far in the area.

I keep trying so hard to like this place, but I am constantly disappointed. The beer is good. It’s beer. The service is above average of that in the surrounding area.
The food has left me hungry every time I’ve ordered it. First it was the “beet” salad. I wish I had pictures but my salad had maybe two small beets chopped into little pieces that I had to search for in the greens.
Then the tacos. 0.2 ounces of taco meat and about a pound of fixings on top. I’m sorry that I don’t have pics.
That brings us to today. The third and last time I’ll order food there. The “patty melt” I ordered was a frozen burger patty between two slightly toasted pieces of bread. FOURTEEN DOLLARS. Oh, and I paid $2 for caramelized onions. There were none to be found on the sandwich.
There are plenty of places to eat nearby within walking distance. I am currently enjoying a lovely bowl of soup at a Cafe nearby. Come on Steeplejack, do better.
