I stumbled in here for the first time looking for a wholesome dive bar experience and Steel Horse did not disappoint. The bartender was attentive and kind. The regulars welcomed us into all the bar games. Everyone was respectful at closing time. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area.

People of color are definitely NOT welcome here. We were instantly discriminated against when we walked through the door . It was so bad that we sat on the patio away from everyone due to the other patrons mean mugging us then shortly after we moved, The bartender came and Shut the patio door without saying a word to us. We left immediately because we were not welcomed Very rude and racist establishment and energy

Very nice staff, nasty smokey bar. I asked for an old fashioned but they couldn’t do it because their bottles are just for show. It was okay. I got a nickname while I was there and some dude got really homophobic when I mentioned I was bisexual, as if he was some prime cut of beef (he was not). I will go back when I want to smell horrible and have a headache the next day, as I feel that suffering is how we learn and grow in this life.

Love this little dive. The pool table plays true and the crowd is fun to be around. If you run into Lugnut “Richard” buy him a beer and you’ll have a friend for life! All the regulars are fun loving and enjoyable people. They have a broad taste in music and keep the jukebox at a decent level.
