What a delightful surprise we stumbled on when we went to go use the bathrooms. On the other side of the bathrooms is this wonderful Cafe. I checked the reviews and they were high so we decided to give it a try. We enjoyed the Cod Sandwich, one of the bowls, a burrito and one of the dilla’s. All the food was delicious and fresh and homemade. There’s no dining inside. They have several picnic tables sitting outside the restaurant with a fantastic view of the ocean. They are very dog friendly. There is gluten free and vegan options. Wheelchair accessible as well.

Turkey sandwich that tastes amazing for $9? Heck yeah! They had something for my whole family to choose from. Their baked goods are also from local bakeries, fresh daily, legit. Right by the ocean? You’d expect tourist prices but it’s honestly affordable and really good. 10/10
Please wipe your own tables and leave your area clean once you’re done for others to enjoy. They provide the towel and spray bottle at each table.

Nice location right by the Santa Cruz Lighthouse! We came to grab a drink after looking at the otters by the shore. I got a matcha… don’t really know how they could call it a matcha quite odd tasting. The coffee alright. We liked the seating outside through, our server was polite and the shop was quite pretty.

Traveling through and wanted to spend an afternoon by the sea. This spot was perfect. Food is fresh and delicious. Had the poke bowl and will be dreaming about it. So good! Was able to enjoy lunch, painted some watercolors and watched the local surfers. ♀️ highly recommend.

This is a very nice food stand! Very convenient spot to go to for people who are hungry and thirsty after a long stay in the state beach. They also have an outdoor area where people can dine.
This place has all sorts of foods. They have these things calls Dillas, which is like smashed burrito or a quesadilla and burrito mash-up. So I decided to try one of them and have to say…it’s very good! Kinda hoping that they will slice mines into pieces haha. But it’s a burrito at the same. So it wouldn’t really make sense if they do lol
I also like how the staff is only letting certain people come in to order depending on the party size. It could be because it’s very small inside and things can be crowded if people try to come in and especially come out.
Again, very good spot if people want a craving after a long stay here!

After a walk along the coast watching waves and surfers, smelling the salt air, it was time for lunch. This little place is friendly, clean, and the food is fresh. I had the salmon poke bowl. It was delicious and hit the spot curbing my hunger. And the price is right, with a canned juice it was under $20. Not bad for a beautiful day in Santa Cruz.

Nice eatery a stones throw from Lighthouse Point in Santa Cruz. You order your food and wait outside for your name to be called. Picnic benches under the trees. The food is fair but limited. The main convenience is that it’s the only place in that general vicinity to eat. The clientele was a mix of tourists, locals, and surfers. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there again but in a pinch it put food in our bellies before heading home from the coast. I wish them all the best.

EDIT (8 months later) MY DUDES YOU REALLY REALLY NEED TO FIX THE FACT THAT YOU DONT show up on google maps when you click on “restaurants”. You guys are gold and the tourists will never find you. I will try to report to google but… it’s lost revenue my dudes.

If you haven’t had some food here, you HAVE to try it. What a gem to have at a state beach!
Fantastic coffee.
Pork sandwich — 100% (the rolls are so tasty, but I would switch to a hard bread like is often done with bahn mi just because of the wetness of the ingredients).
Smashburger – a true winner (personally I would substitute a savory sauce or aioli for the mayo/mustard, and I would maybe marinate the cabbage as well).
The only disappointment was a tuna poke bowl. It was mostly raw cabbage (again, I would marinate that, otherwise it’s like eating straw), with 3 teeny pieces of fish, in a tiny bowl and I was left STARVING. Needs more seaweed, more cucumber with that delicious dressing…. this particular dish just paled in comparison to the giant bowl with great ingredients that you get the poke place downtown.

The food wasn’t anything special, it was reliable but kinda pricey. However everything on the cost is so it was actually well priced in comparison. Fantastically nice and fast working staff. Quite possibly the most soothing and enjoyable place to eat outdoors I’ve ever eatin at.

Loved the food! Kim-chi dog and fish tacos. We did laugh at the size of the salmon poke bowl for the price. Worth the wait it was good! Besides nothing else this good around. Was fortunate to find a parking spot.
