Thought it would be great. It was good.
4 people nearing closing time at 2 PM. Ordered rib eye, filet, chicken Marcella x 2. Ribeye was tender but big chunk of fat. Filet not as flavorful nor tender as I would like. Chicken Marcella was dryish and overcooked a little. We all ordered asparagus. Seems they were not snapped, but left whole. Stringy and tips small. Flavor good. Truffle fries good but not great. Baked potatoes slightly over cooked. But good.
Waitress was good. But forgot wife’s salad. Great Bourbon and whiskey selection. Pour was generous.
Atmosphere was steakhouse Italian.

The food was delicious. We had the Cajun Strip and the salmon with the pesto topping. For an appetizer we had the fried green tomatoes.

From the time you walk in, you can appreciate the KY themed Bluegrass roots. This place has an atmosphere like no other. Old, yet up to date themed KY everything. Bluegrass music and some Ky born artist playing is a great touch to your dining experience. If you are know anything Ky, you will appreciate this restaurant. Service, we had Taylor who was on top of everything. The team work witnessed here was spot on. Not one person wasn’t pulling their weight. Friendly, fast, and tasty food. Food, we ordered the pretzel with cheese and holy smokes it was amazing. I got the lunch special pizza and husband got the chicken and fries, all hot, fresh, and good. The crust on the pizza was so good and not the type you leave on your plate, you gonna eat that crust because it’s so good. Thank you Taylor for your amazing service. We can’t wait to return.

My family and I came in for lunch. They were pretty busy, but got us seated quickly. I was especially surprised at how quickly the food came out! Everything was delicious, and the lunch prices are very reasonable. Our waitress was excellent! The whole restaurant was a great vibe – it’s beautiful in there, and it was so full of life and vibrant. An excellent addition to this small town! We will be back!

2.27.25 Lunch

Recommended by a local, we stopped here for lunch. Rustic interior friendly service.
Diane had the express lunch pizza with beef. The server said it was 12″ but more like7″. The dough flavor was very good. Nice overall except for the fact that the beef was almost nonexistent. A small pizza like that should have three times the amount because that still wouldn’t be a lot.
I had the express lunch meatballs. Once again, everything was good but two meatballs as a serving side would be a kids meal size. The meatballs appetizer has five meatballs. You would think a lunch entrée would have atleast three.
The side of fries we got were also very good and crispy.
So all the food was good but the quantities were below par.
Because all the flavors wre good we can recommend trying it but be careful about the size of your order.

We had reservations with anticipation of a delicious steak. So disappointed. Both steaks were awful. we ordered them both medium rare and one was medium well and medium. they both tasted like they were old or left over… something not right. The baked potato tasted left over and the Brussel sprouts were well done. we asked the server if they changed their meat source and she said no. Server was super sweet and the atmosphere is great but it was rather chilly

We found Steak & Stone through an Internet search, because we were so hungry and craving steak and pizza and caving & kayaking 7 miles. We went 45 minutes out of our way to come here. We were delighted when we arrived, and there was a small trick-or-treat festival going on in the City center.
We sat at the bar and had wonderful service by the lovely bartender named Melinda Lynn(Mel) . She was more than just attentive. She was just kind and super sweet.
The food was outstanding, the pizza crust and the pesto sauce, which is homemade delectable. My husband ordered the Cajun strip steak with shrimp and it was so good.
They have a very nice selection of wines, bourbons and many other drinks including in houses specialty drinks. Well, worth making an extra drive to have great food and atmosphere and friendly staff.

One of the best ribeyes I ever had, cooked the way I liked it medium rare and the flavor was beyond good. Went again and had the best prime rib I have ever had. 16oz with 2 sides 30 dollars great deal. Went a 3rd time for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was a flop. Our table was right in the middle of the floor where all the foot traffic was and near the front door very cold sitting at our table, should not have to dine with your coat on. Got our salads before the appetizer then after asking several times about our appetizer it finally came and of course our main courses followed as we were eating the appetizer. Our main course was not even luke warm which was prime rib with mashed potatoes and a filet with mashed potatoes. Very disappointed in the service the food and watched several disappointed customers leave. Oh one more thing how the hell do you run out of fresh baked bread on a Saturday after only being open an hour. Visit number 4 with friends in town from Florida and their fillets were well done not medium liked they asked for. My wife’s chicken parm came out luke warm at best and my prime rib well let’s just say it wasn’t anything close to my second visit. I would of sent my friends steaks back but they did not want to make a big fuss about it. Also would like to share that they again just opened for dinner and it took almost an hour after our appetizer to get our meals.
