Great place to eat if you like getting served mold and still be expected to pay for it by the new manager. Still tipped my server well though – he genuinely seemed sorry and has always been a good server on prior visits.

Never fails the few time we have been there the wait staff is slow. They will start you quick but take forever to come back and get the order. Then after we have our meal we do see them again until they bring the check to the table and ask if we need any thing. Yes, it would have been nice if you came by earlier to refill our drinks or bring a few more napkins any thing would have been nice. I guess the employees think it’s better to stand behind the soda fountain and talk when there is customers around.

Then a group of 20 people walked in and not one but two waitresses started taking their orders.

We left and spent $50 at Arby’s next door
Which was much cleaner and order was fast and hot,,.
I love steak and shake
But I will never go to this one ever,..

The food here was as close to the pictures as I have ever had at a Steak n Shake. Our waitress was new but was very attentive and we received our food in a timely fashion. The staff was very pleasant, which isn’t always the case at other locations. Well done!

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND LONG WAITS
We have been here to this location a few times over the years. When we first started going the service was friendly and the food service was quick. But since about a year ago we have not gone back until today. A year ago the service was HORRIBLE the waitress was very rude and did not attend the table well. About six months ago we said we would give it another shot to see if maybe things had changed, and they wouldn’t even let us sit in the restaurant to eat even though they didn’t close for another 2 hours. We left and went somewhere else. Today because of unavoidable circumstances we went to eat there and again, the service was SLOW, the food was COLD by the time they served it, and the order was mixed up. One person in our party did not get served until 15 minutes after the rest!! We will never go back to this location. This was the last straw.

Arrived around 9:10 am for breakfast 1/1/2018. Stood waiting to be seated for 4 minutes then left for McDonalds. I was noticed but ignored by the two women behind the counter. Can’t comment on anything except poor service. Much happier at McDonalds.

I usually never have issues here, except the last time we went through the drive thru, the first person to try to take our order wasn’t paying attention so a different person started to take our order, he said our order correctly when he repeated it, but all the drinks were wrong when we recieved our order and we were charged more than we were supposed to be charged. Other than that one visit, we’ve never had an issue with this Steak n Shake

Had to walk out of this one. We love steak and shake but this location. Poor service mixed with a disgusting dining room and a hour wait before we cut our losses. I wouldn’t be as aggravated if the staff hadn’t been standing around while all the table had old food on them. They weren’t even busy
