Marina Donuts and bagels is a local staple. Their main menu items are high quality and affordable, they have good vegan substitutions, and specialty items like bagel dogs make them a unique spot.
Line moves quick, good service. The beverages are a bit pricy for the area and average quality, but I’d still highly recommend them for breakfast or lunch food.

Awesome bagel sandwiches. Me and hubby shared the Califurnia turkey bagel. It was piled high with turkey, avo, sprouts and tomato with cream cheese. We chose the jalapeno cheddar bagel. Pretty pricey at 13.50 but they are pretty big. Either way I would still come back. There was a line when we got there so we knew it was gonna be good. We also got a apple fritter and old fashioned they were both good as well. Perfect spot to grab a morning coffee and donuts or afternoon lunch and take it to Marina state beach.

Be aware that they charge $1.50 extra for a croissant even though it’s on the menu as a croissant sandwich, and they added an extra fee for toasting my sandwich, I wasn’t asked if I wanted it toasted, I didn’t. A very basic $14.50 sandwich cost over $16 with undisclosed up charges. We’ve been here a few times, but won’t be back after today. So Disappointing that with such high prices they still find new ways to nickel and dime you.

Service isn’t an issue. The premade coffee drinks that they pull out of the fridge is an issue. Pretty disappointing. Costs more than a Starbucks, tastes like old coffee and doesn’t even remotely resemble the pictures they have advertising their drinks. Spare yourself. The bagel sandwiches and breakfast croissants, however, were decent.

Not terrible, not otherworldly amazing either. Just kind of middle of the road for their donuts. What I got — donut holes — were dry. I was hoping for a light & puffy texture, but I did not get that. Perhaps because it was later in the day?

This little donut & bagel shop has all the standard donuts, bagels, and sandwiches in numbers. I didn’t taste everything but they all looked fabulous. The donuts were notably large.
The counter staff were warm, helpful, and fast. That make standing in the occasionally long line very easy to tolerate.
I get the impression this is the only shop of it’s kinda on this side of Marina. Enjoy.

Best bagels hands down in Monterey Peninsula. If they were in Carmel By the Sea or Monterey their prices will be double. The service is prompt and friendly.
There is no seating inside but if you want a bagel or a bagel sandwich this place is great . The cashier was very thoughtful about packaging the food and asked if I need knives. She the gave me a cardboard tray in addition to the bags to carry everything. What a great service.

The quality has gone up and down over the years but I’ve never been more stoked about their poppyseed bagels. It’s more of a poppyseed crusting than a sprinkling, and it makes the ever increasing prices worth it.
The peach wraps aren’t as consistently good as they used to be. Some are too peach syrupy, some look like a sinkhole, some have a terrible peach-to-cream cheese ratio. But the donuts are reliable and yummy.

Marina Donuts & Bagels is a great place to have breakfast. They have indoor seating. Staff is very nice and efficient. Tried the glazed donut, the chocolate croissant, the sugar donut and lemon poppy muffin. Next time, I would try their sandwich in a bagel.
