1st of all… We are huge Steak and Shake fans!! With that said… this could possibly be the worst Steak and Shake in business!!! I honestly don’t know how they can stay in business with what we saw today!! There were NO patrons in the place besides us. When we walked in we weren’t sure if they were even open. While we were looking around, confused, a young lady came out from back of kitchen. She walked over to THE register to take our order. Nothing was marked as this was where you placed your order. Our food was brought out to our table by the young lady. My husband and I both had the Double Cheeseburger Combo meals. The Shoestring French fries were fried so hard they were like the “canned potato sticks”. There was no potato left to them…only Crunch. AND COATED in salt!!! All of the burgers come with pickles, onions, mustard and ketchup. They’ve done away with the lettuce and tomato. The burgers were mediocre. We both used the bathrooms before we left. The women’s restroom… no toilet paper, no paper towels (except for a roll on top of dispenser), the floors were nasty! The men’s restroom wreaked of urine because the floor was covered in it!! Such a disappointment from Steak and Shake!!!! I gave 4 stars bc the young lady cashier was pleasant and personable..the only bright spot of our visit!! 2 is really stretching it for this restaurant!!

Got the grilled cheese and fries for the niece and she of course enjoyed it. I prefer the grill cheese from Five Guys more because it has more of a buttery and cheesy taste to it. The Mac and cheese was decent for a fast food burger and fries place.

I got the Royale steak burger and chili cheese fries which was ok. They served it to me on a small place which I thought was strange. Why couldn’t it be served on a larger plate with my chili cheese fries. I wished the egg on my Royale was running and not and over easy egg. The chili on my fries actually didn’t have any meat from what I can tell and was all beans. The cheese was like a nacho cheese sauce. Best part of my meal was the vanilla milkshake.

Wife got the mushroom steak burger and parmesan fries which was lacking in flavor. The wife didn’t care much for the mushroom burger or the fries also. The parmesan seasoning didn’t add any thing to the fries in taste at all.

Pretty good fast food spot. The fries were definitely my favorite thing I ordered, I’d even say top 5 fast food fried. The shake was good, the original burger was better than expected.

Clean restaurant inside and outside. Bathrooms are clean. Personally wash hands before eating.
Burgers are juicy and delicious. Fries remind me of potato stix. However, bite into any individual fry and one can see the potato inside. Finished it off with a nice thick side by side chocolate and banana shake.

I ordered the chili 5 way through the app. I went to business building (not going to use the word restaurant). Of course when I get there they no longer have chili 5 way. After finally convincing asst manager i ordered through the App and NOT through doordash I said no problem refund my card. Asst manager just started and no one knows how to do refund. So I waited patiently for minutes for Assistant manager to show up to give me my refund. Ordered said ready for pickup at 425 pm. Assistant Manager finally showed up at 5 pm only wasted 35 minutes.

The food is usually really good here but I have found the service lacking. I went through the drive-through twice now in the past few weeks and ordered a large combo and a small birthday cake milkshake. The first time my combo was a small and the milkshake was just a plain vanilla milkshake, no whip cream, nothing. The second time the milkshake was a cookie dough one and the guy at the drive-through at first forgot about my drink, and then tried to give me a small combo, I had to tell him that I ordered a large combo. Atmosphere was awesome. Keeping with the holiday spirit. Sorry no pictures of the food because had eaten it to fast. They really care about your experience which is very humbling. And even on my way out. They ask if the food was good. As if they didn’t already know!!! Love this place. A lil away from the interstate but well worth the few miles.

Raw meat just left out uncovered for the hour we were there. The cashier was talking on the phone the entire time She was serving us, never even pausing her personal call, and the rest of the workers were just hanging out outside, sitting down doing nothing. Except for the one older guy who was working his butt off alone

Been here twice now, once when it had just freshly opened, and second time was last week. The milkshake is always good. Wait time is high despite not many seated customers. Maybe that’s cause of the insanely long drive thru queue. At any rate, I think with time they’ll get better at managing the wait times. The waiters and the hostess at the front have always been friendly and very courteous.

The food was good, yes I will be going back. Seasoned burger love it .Thin smashed patties .However, my order wasn’t correct, had to repeat it over several times and still wasn’t correct. Can y’all get the cashier some help, taking the money, taking the order, passing out the food was clearly to much for her. I had to add my drink back on at the window, I gave her my card before she gave me my food and drink. She left the window like we were done (my card was still in the machine). I waited til she came back, we made eye contact, she was confused, so I glanced at the card machine.
Aside from that the presentation of the food was disappointing. I eating what my eyes first and this was giving me ‘ should have stayed home’
