You like visited the restaurant in early 70s: a kindness white uniform waitress, a lot of red colors and 4 seats tables, more space, big windows, burgers and fries in different modifications. And so interesting price for meals. I appreciate for delicious burgers (specially for bread) and milkshakes (7 or 8 positions). And I like it to leave a tips every time here (but I had been only 3 times). Bravo guys…

As others have said, the service can be hit or miss here. Staffing and training for employees are an issue here. No matter, we still frequent this place and if we see its too busy we will go elsewhere. The food and milkshakes are very good and the prices even better. On our last visit we ordered three burger combo meals, 2 kid meals and 3 milk shakes. The total was $23 as the kids eat free on this particular day. Everything was great and the service was decent.

This was my first ever visit to one of the Steak ‘n Shake restaurants, I didn’t know what to expect. The food was really delicious and prices were very reasonable. We were seated right away and our order only took a few minutes to be prepared. The waitresses were very friendly and made sure we had a good meal and everything we needed. We definitely will be stopping back again in the future.

We were so thankful to find that this place was still open at 10pm. The very nice lady that seated us, seemed to also be the one to cook our meals – which were fantastic! She was the one that rang us out when we were ready to go. No idea where her fellow employees were, or what they were doing, but it didnt seem to bother her.
Our waiter was pleasant enough, I suppose, but not great at his job. He kept my husbands drink full, but didnt once ask if I’d like a refill. He left every dirty dish & cup on our table. Those should have been taken away promptly.
Overall, it was a good experience. I’m sure we will go back again.

Service and price are great. There are no steaks here, only hamburgers that they call steak burgers. The food portions are good sized for the price. The milkshakes are great. The burger meat lacks flavor, so you have to add toppings to compensate for that. Overall, it’s a decent place to eat a few times a year. I dont see going here on a regular basis, except for when there is a special, like half priced milkshakes.

The service at the Pittsburgh Mills location was excellent and the food was great! It was my first visit and I was immediately impressed with the atmosphere and the pleasant greetings we received. The food was served fast and hot, and exactly as we ordered. The prices are great for the menu they serve. I took my 88 yr old father there and he loved it. ..and he hates everything! Lol! We will come back!

This place never disappoint. Fast, cheap, and tasty. There’s nothing that isn’t meat outside of the fries, that I’m aware of. But if you want a tasty burger and crispy shoestring fries this is where you wanna go. It’s even cheaper than most fast food these days and they have table service, so you really can’t go wrong.

Normally a bit better. It was alright. Being only one of two customers in the dining area I was really discouraged with as long as it took for pancakes and water. Previously service had been more efficient. Foot was fine.
