The plus size Caucasian woman with the tattoos all over her hands was so rude and impatient. She initially gave me the wrong information about what comes with a meal and her coworker politely corrected her and from then she was disrespectful. I asked her to repeat my order before paying, she let out the biggest sigh, while rolling her eyes then turns around and prints it on a receipt and says “here”. I take the receipt and read it, thank her and then give her my cash. The coworker who corrected her comes to the window, gives me my food and ask if I need anything else. Trying to get away from the other woman, I almost leave my charge and the kind coworker says “wait your change”. I reach for it and the rude worker shoves my change in my hand, dropping a quarter. She then looks down and says “oh that’s a quarter”. I tell her thank you and leave. She needs training on customer service and professionalism.

Place is a dive. Floors were sticky, bathrooms were horrendous. I have seen truck stops with better restrooms. I get seated and after I place my order I use the restroom. Come back out and my table is taken. The hell? If this is the best rated out of the area imagine what the rest are like? The food matched. That reflection on the bun isn’t great lighting it’s grease! Given the wrong receipt to top it off. Will never come back and probably won’t eat at any steak n shake ever again. That’s how bad my experience was.

I normally work door dash from here but tonight im a dine in customer and I must say. The customer service is out of this world. If able to I’d give 100 stars!! Employees are amazing and have a very amazing trainer and boss. Ive been to multiple steak and shakes before and NOTHING and NOWHERE tops the springfield Wabash location!!! Keep up the amazing work yall!!

The food and the service where awesome. I had a breakfast biscuit that was full of fluffy eggs perfectly cooked biscuit dripping with cheese and hashbrown was crisp and hot. I was greeted right away and they took great care of me.

Great price. First time every at a steak n shake. Unfortunately they only had 2 people working. And it got busy and other customers started getting mad. I felt bad for the guy cause he was older and trying to stay positive

Wait was horrible and food was mediocre. Paid for onion rings received a half filled box didn’t even eat my fish sandwich it looked soggy and old. Heather was the manager on shift when I returned my food and told me to speak to the general manager…then she proceeded to tell me that if I didn’t move out of her driveway she would call the police. While speaking to the manager another employee decided to show a peace sign as if he was adding fuel to the fire. I will never patronize this store ever again. They don’t deserve my money nor yours. Hopefully the store manager has a better understanding of the situation or I’ll be sure to take this to corporate.
