This is the best meal I’ve had at any Steak and Shake. The staff were friendly, brought me my food (dine-in) and asked for anything else. The manager also stopped by to make sure things were good. My food was made with care, you can just tell. I will definitely be back. The picture is of a worker cleaning each chair with care during their downtime. I’m impressed.

They call your name and you have to go pick your order up at the counter. They expect you to clean your own table also.

The floor was very sticky at the entrance with a caution sign, however the stickiness was felt throughout the restaurant. It took a while to place the order, as one of the kiosks was not working, creating a bit of a line. This created an extra wait time for receiving your order with only two employees working at the time. Besides the atmosphere, food was great, fries seasoned well and a sweet cold shake to go with it.

We have eaten at many Steak n’ Shakes in the past, and they were always good, but we wanted to write a review on this particular one we ate at in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. We stopped there in August of 2025, and the burgers and fries just tasted so good this time. I dont know what was different than othere times, so I have to give the credit to the staff, especially the grill cook. Delicious. My teenage son ate his meal so fast, I was worried he might get sick. Lol. Highly recommend.

I had an awesome experience. The guy was super nice & accommodating! I’ve been craving the fries & he found me some fry seasoning that I could buy! Thanx, man!!!!! Even was able to park my semi. Lol as long as there’s no one parked on that 1 side. I was stuffed full by the time I left!

There is always room for improvement, and no one truly deserves 5 stars. However, Steak ‘n Shake is a local staple, and post-remodel, I have had nothing but stellar impressions of the company. The staff is always friendly, makes my order in a timely manner, and with care. I appreciate their switch from seed oils and notice the difference in taste, in particular. Delicious fries and an enjoyable experience overall.

Burger were cooked perfectly – crisp edges as expected from Steak n Shake. Fries flavored by tallow were delicious. Will definitely eat there again and often.
