The underside of the grill area was extremely dirty, with grease buildup on walls, wiring, and outlets beneath where burgers are cooked.
While this area is not directly on the grill surface, grease and residue can become airborne from heat, splash upward during cooking, or be transferred by employees and equipment—potentially contaminating food. Combined with grease near electrical components, this also creates a fire hazard.

This was my first time going to a Steak ‘n Shake. I really was impressed by the ordering method if doing it on the screen inside. The inside of the restaurant is nicely clean. The old fashion theme is really nice too. I got the triple steak burger. Dyammm, It fills you up! If you want to easy a lot, go here! The fries were also good but the cheese on top could have been a bit hotter. Overall, not a bad place to stop by, or even before you go to the movies!

This is the second Steak and Shake I visit in 2 days this one also failed in both orders I placed the first order I asked directly to get easy ice and they fail to do so and even when they brought the cup up to me and I asked the girl is there easy ice in this she lied with a straight face when she was the one that poured the drink and said yes she clearly lied to my face and on the second order at the same location I asked for mustard relish on the burger and they also failed to do that and I had to drive back to ask for a small cup. Three orders placed at two different Steak n Shakes in 2 days in a row and all three failed with simple tasks and requests. The food is good the prices are okay but the staff don’t seem to care or value their job or take pride in anything they do since they don’t want to pay attention to the simple request of the customers. It leaves one with a sense that everybody hired at Steak and Shake excel at incompetence. And it clearly shows by the fact that both places were practically empty both times in the middle of the afternoon. Your staff is destroying your business Steak and Shake do something about it.

First off we went to try the Dr.Pepper drink at the soda machine and it wasn’t working for us, instead of the employees helping out they told us to scan it again and after 5 minutes they offered to fill it with their own machine by the drive through window. We received our food and I had a few fries that were ice cold and were raw. They also had one of the employees kids running around the kitchen and dining area which felt unsanitary and unprofessional. This place need a management change and a stricter quality control. Won’t be returning until something is done about it.

My shake was half way on the cup and a lot of whipped cream on it
12/10/23 Once again not enough shake on my cup, 3/4 of the cup with Shake and the rest whipped cream, Manager Alex didnt honor my Free shake cupon, I got it back on November and they said I used it on September , I mention that my shake had not enough product and he said that is the way it is .

This is one of the best Steak n Shake experiences I have ever had! I was greeted warmly by the all female team, was notified that there would be a short 2 minute wait for fresh fries, and was told to have a great day! The food was delicious and I will definitely come back. Kind service is truly appreciated.
