This Place on Mecham rd is BAD..
Food probably alright but, the staff is bad!!! They don’t interact with customers any more since, they put in the walk up kiosk….place was deserted 12:30pm lunchtime when we got there …
Later around 1:15 it picked up slightly and…… Chef Boy R D , NOT…. Is selective who’s he going to help….
Thought today I give it one more chance and boy I wish I would have choked on my food … trip to the ER would have been better .. at least I would be allowed Hospital food !!!!!!

I ordered two combo meals for my kids after a long 12 hour day. The lemonade was hardly lemonade as it was laughably watered down. Called to ask what could be done if i brought them back the next day as I was very tired. The girl that answered told me that I was the only one to complain about it. Well. This struck a nerve because all I wanted was for her to address my concern. Instead she wanted tell me it was basically my problem since I’d been the only one to address it. She put me on hold then came back to the phone and asked and I quote, “Do you have the lemonades with you?” I’m totally scared at what schools nd places of businesses aren’t teaching. She had no clue as to why I was frustrated.

First time back to a Steak ‘n Shake since our old location closed in the wake of JB Pritzker’s COVID response.
Went because of the fries, which are now fried in beef tallow. Excellent all the way around.

Also, have paid in bitcoin, which was cool, but of course immediately re-bought twice that amount of BTC.
It’s a nice backstop if your bankcard get ganked (or all banks go down) and you don’t have cash. But never, ever spend your bitcoin without replacing it.
