I went and got a burger, fries, and Kit Kat milk shake. The shake was amazing, fries were good, but the burger was sitting in a pool of grease which was not great.

Food came out fast, was correct and hot. Cheese fries are just fries and a small cup of cheese on the side. Milk shakes are delicious. The vibe is a little off from what it used to be. You order at a kiosk and they call your name to pickup. This seems to work relatively well, but they do just call the name and leave it on the counter for the customers to figure out . Overall it seems they have lost their position as the weird middle ground between sit-down and fast food, and have just become fast food. The price is fair compared to other fast food, so that checks. General cleanliness of the restaurant was not great. Area by soda machine was pretty sticky all across. Carpet in front of self service station was covered in misc debri. Tables are self service and no one was wiping them down after customers left. To be clear, nothing was terribly dirty, but all of those little things combined made it feel a little dirty in there.

Well, when we first arrived there was a huge step up curb and my mom fell. Then we didn’t know they no longer have menus which is weird. However we were given instructions on how to order at the kiosk and then how to scan the barcode to make the pop machine work. I then was very confused. Why not have robots at this point? Then the food came. Apparently a butter burger comes with an ice cream scoop of unmelted butter on it! Whoa! I guess we just weren’t impressed with the food. Service was great though!

Worst Steak & shake experience EVER!!! They make you order on a kiosk upon entering and give you your food COMPLETELY unprepared!! We were given two burgers with absolutely nothing on them but cheese! And after going to the counter, I was given NO apology or concern that my food literally was not prepared! Just gave me a tray with everything on the side. Had to build my own burger! Completely unacceptable and upsetting!!! Would NOT Recommend!!!

I dont dine out much…I had no idea Steak and Shake was no longer a table-service restaurant. We ordered from a kiosk, got our own drinks, picked up our order from the counter when called, and cleared our own table. The food was good! The store was clean.

Food was great service was good I’m assuming they were very short staffed every table is dirty turn the bathrooms were disgusting but there was two people running the whole place trying to keep up so I can’t blame them too much
