I take my client here about once a week. She adores their chocolate peanut butter shakes. Since coming in regularly, we’ve gotten to know some of the staff here. They are always accommodating, helpful, and the nicest people. Today was my clients birthday and the cook even offered to buy her milkshake today as well as get me one. It’s a sweet small gesture, but completely made her whole day. Thank you guys for the amazing service!

This was the first time in a couple years that I’ve eaten at Steak n Shake. I was shocked when I received my smashburger. It was paper thin and I don’t know if you could call it meat or cardboard. It was like sitting there eating a bun. I know how a smash burger should be prepared and it’s supposed to be thin with crispy edges but it’s still supposed to be juicy in the middle. Mine was so thin it had holes in it and there was no juice coming from it at all. I had also ordered the chili and it was cold and tasted grainy. The most tasteless meal ever. It’s not cheap to eat out as we all know but please, at least serve food that is pleasant and prepared properly. Very disappointed in the whole experience.

I visited Steak ‘n Shake on Sunday, February 15. My family and I used to love that place, but now it’s disgusting , and the service was incredibly slow. To make matters worse, the food was dry and burnt. I don’t know who that new cook is, but we won’t be returning for a long time. Mood: Disappointed

First impression when I walked in was do I have enough time to review this place today. Dining area was somewhat busy but the place seemed to be understaffed cleanliness was definitely not a priority to this particular Steak and Shake. I ordered bacon cheese double steakburger with the upgraded Cajun seasoned fries they did not seem to be stingy with the Cajun seasoning on top of the lukewarm fries the bacon double steakburger was not bad the bun seem to be a bit soggy at seem to be a big greasy. The grilled chicken sandwich was good bun could have cooked a little bit longer the upgraded parmesan seasoned fries was pretty good they were not stingy with the seasoning but they were still lukewarm the fries were not fresh the whole place looks like it needs to really be shut down for a day and good spring cleaning needs to be gone thoroughly through this building the bathrooms were dirty

Steak ‘n shake is always a good place to Stop for a late night meal and a shake. Food had always been fresh and the shakes have always been tasty. They also give my dogs a cup of whip cream to snack on when we got the drive through. That is very courteous and the line it when they get their cup. Thanks guys. You’re the best. That’s what my dogs tell me anyway.

Completely dead inside. No more table service. Took at a kiosk to order. Very weird. We didn’t enjoy our food this time. Mine was a ketchup burger, you know more ketchup on it instead of beef. Cup of chili was good. Tables looked dirty. Watched cook, constantly rubbing his nose with gloves on then go back to cooking food or play on his phone with his gloves on then go cook more. Kinda unsanitary.
