Very fast and friendly service! It was after a Notre Dame game and I had two 11 year olds with me. They were able to get our order in and have it to our table in a very quick manner considering a rush after the game. Highly recommend! Order was correct and good!

Last night (Valentine’s Day), we stopped in for dinner. It was very busy and there were only 3 employees actively working in the kitchen. Now, while we did have to wait 45 minutes to an hour for our food, the employees kept their spirits up and made sure everything was handed out correctly and cooked to perfection. Other customers were acting a little ridiculous and impatient, which is understandable. But the employees made sure to remain calm and handled everything with care. I didn’t mind waiting a while for my dinner, because everything was delicious. Thank you for setting a good example for all restaurants.

I’ve stopped in here a cple times an the restaurant wasn’t too busy inside, which I like. The employees were very nice and helpful. The bathroom was clean, which is a major plus in my book. The food was great an hot. We didn’t have to wait too long. Overall it was good service an great atmosphere, I give it 4 stars. I’m not a fan of the whole order yourself, I’m old school an miss the days of HUMAN interaction as opposed to everything being digital these days.

I usually only get the shakes from here because thats what I want. I haven’t tried their food in over 6 years. But the choices they have for the shakes are crazy. The husband and I sometimes make a little detour so we can stop and get one. They have a drive through which is nice since I’m only ordering 2 shakes.

This is the first time I have ever been disappointed going To a Steak and Shake! Totally self service. You HAVE to order on a machine, you have to fix your own drink, condiments are pre packaged in “tiny” little packages. There were people sleeping in the booths. Just awful.

It was a pleasant surprise to discover this restaurant. It was my first time trying their burgers, and I was truly impressed by the quality of the meat and the careful way the food is prepared. I also appreciate that they cook with beef tallow, which shows their commitment to authentic flavor and quality. I highly recommend this place — it was very clean, and the staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive.

I tried to have lunch here. I used the self order kiosk. And then waited. It wasn’t busy at all. There were no other customers inside except two that already had their food. All the employees were hiding in the back. 10 minutes later, no one had even started making my food. I waited another 5 minutes. Still no employees at the counter or at the grill. I had to yell to the back of the store to get anyone’s attention to come give me a refund. And that took several minutes. Terrible service.

We were disappointed that there is very little customer service.
You order and pay at a kiosk and a tray is dropped off at your table. No other interaction with the “server”. We did have a slip on the tray with a recommended “tip”.
