We ordered the super size fries and were charged extra, but both containers were noticeably underfilled. The food itself was fine, which made the portion issue more disappointing, especially considering the added cost.
I’m not upset about the quality, just the value. For a paid upgrade, I expected the portions to reflect that. Hopefully this location can be more consistent moving forward.

We were having a hard time ordering on the kiosk, and management helped us. They were also very friendly and the food was fresh and very very good. My husband and I split a meal and he even said the food was very good. I didn’t get a pic of the food but here’s our shake

Generally a good experience through the drive thru but had a weird time today, 1/27/26, at around 2:30 p.m…. the place had no cars in the lot butwe pulled through to the drive thru anyway only to find the drive thru menu unit appeared to have been damaged (one of the panels was open and falling forward exposing the internal device to the elements). Nobody greeted us and the restauraunt appeared to be completely closed with the lights off.
This was the first full day when surrounding streets were pretty much completely clear following a snow storm in the area, so we couldn’t understand why the restaurant was closed, especially when every other place in the area appeared to be open. Even if the decision to do so had been made out of caution, there was zero signage anywhere that we could see that would have prevented us from wasting our time pulling into the lot and into the drive thru… nothing on the doors, on the broken drive thru menu, or overhead.
Edit: Sorry, had to drop the review down to one star. The restaurant was closed AGAIN today on 2/5/26 and YET AGAIN there was NO SIGN so people wouldn’t try to order. At least FIVE CARS came and went trying to use the drive thru while we were there. What is going on?

Everything for the most part was smooth here, food was excellent, only thing I did not like is that you have to ring yourself up at the cash register. Just a little bit of advice, the crew members should be a little more quieter about their discussions. I think I overheard a manager chewing an employee out about being late or trying to leave early, something of that nature. Anyway great job

Had steak and shake for the first time in a long time and MAN it was good. Butter Burger on point! Beef tallow fries amazing. Chili as good as I remember. I will be back!

This Steak ‘N Shake has a new concept where you order at a kiosk and you can get your own drink and seat yourself. This is a great concept because you do not have to wait for your check or refills. The food came out quick and tastes like the old Steak ‘N Shake we all remember. The owner and hostess were super friendly and both checked up on us. This location deserves to do well.

I haven’t been to a stake and shake for years, thought they had all closed, remember it being really good food and couldn’t tell if it was just cause last time I ate there I was 16 and didn’t know what good food was, or if it actually was great food. Oh boy is it just as good as I remember, better even! Was such a delight to eat here! Will definitely be back for more. (I put a photo of what I ate, it was a single cheeseburger with garlic butter buns with added lettuce tomato and onions)
