I hate having to use those stupid machines to order the food. Then they dont work half the time. Then they want a tip for what cooking the food they get paid to cook? We take our own orders. Get our food from the front and clean the tables off when we leave. Why don’t we get a tip? Food was good though. Always pick this one when in the area.

I like Steak N Shake burgers, fries, and shakes, but being forced to use a kiosk (the only way you can order) is ridiculous. My kiosk had 2 glitches that would not allow order to be made without flagging someone down in kitchen to help. All in all, food was good, organization barely fair.

This is steak ‘n shake. Let’s be honest like most fast food places you order from a kiosk then pay with a credit card or debit card. You go find yourself a table and sit down. You wait for them to call your name then proceed to the counter to pick up your food, your drinks and your shakes. There is less & less interaction with the customer service representatives at these locations. If you need something or even need something extra you just have to go up and stand at one of the counters and try to wait until someone acknowledges that you’re there to find out what it is that you want or need. Steak ‘n shake is not somewhere that we go that quite often back in the heyday of the steak ‘n shake chain we probably went at least once a week, possibly once every 2 weeks because they had great food which included a selection of chicken, including chicken tenders and their milkshakes were outstanding. This is somewhere that we might go once a month if that now. I know there are a lot of die hard steak ‘n shake fans out there. It’s always your choice of where you go and where you spend your money. They do still have a large selection of milkshakes.

Stopped in for lunch today (11/07/24) right at opening (11am) and was so pleasantly surprised! I haven’t ate at this Steak n Shake for over a decade.. for no particular reason, just haven’t. Our food was excellent. My Frisco melt was cooked to perfection. The bread was buttery yet crispy (not soggy) and had the perfect amount of sauce. Fries were perfect too. The staff was very pleasant. The inside was super clean and inviting. Thank you for such a great fast food experience.

Epic fail for making dine in and carry out Kiosk only. I will not be back. I want to get my food order from a human, not stand there and figure out a Kiosk and how to avoid paying more money for adding items, like paying for 1 ranch for a chicken tender order! Burger buns were oil soaked. I love the tallow fries, but not enough to be an employee! Humans over robots please!

Great restaurant love the kiosks and how it speeds up the dining experience. The booths do look like maybe they need fixed but there was plenty of other seating. Staff were all very friendly and man can they cook! I hadn’t been to steak and shake in years but I am glad I decided to give it another try. I will be back!
